Where are these from?

I have seen some members around here with avatars that look pretty cool, so I was wondering if anyone would be able to try and find like a list of them or something, if that exists?

It's possible, but they are extremely similar and used by two different members
the members are fairly young too so I'd be pretty impressed if they both made them

and considering the hamlet one looks like it was screen-shotted, I'm assuming they found these off a website somewhere

I started by reverse-searching the images, which led me to these posts:

and a link to a specific person's photobucket - which was set on private. Noticing that it was two different users, I cross-checked their posts and threads to see if there was a common thread concerning signatures or avatars... I couldn't find any.

However, considering they were both used as fairly public items, without any clear source, I considered they must have a commonly-known, public source. I went through and searched every well-know Animal Crossing website, and didn't find the source.

The art reminds me of some of Nintendo Play's / Amiibo Festival's art, and the poses are very similar to the Amiibos, so I tried searching for icons and avatars from that series. When that didn't work, I tried searching for icons and avatars for those characters, and when that didn't work, I tried searching for icons and avatars from AC in general.

I got nothing. I was so sure I could get it, but I lost. The images defeated me. Someone else must take my place, I am a goner.

Look at Gummy (the user with the bird lady as their profile picture)'s signature, it matches the edges of the profile picture's edges.
I noticed that but it's probably not important.

That's true! And the background images are the same. Perhaps there's a way to search for the background image and see if that comes up?
