Which amiibo card series had the best selection of characters?

So now that all 400 amiibo cards are out, I would like your opinions on which series had the best villagers and non-villagers by average. You may list the worst ones as well.

While Series 1 had the most cards I used when it came to hiring animals in my facilities, I honestly think Series 3 is the best by average. It had three of my top five favorite villagers (which were all normal villagers), it had Blathers and Leif, and it had a couple of other good villagers.

My least favorite is Series 4. While it had Aurora, Goldie, and Rosie, most of the villagers there aren't really as good as the previous ones. It had the worst selection of special cards too.

I adored the series 3 cards. It may be completely biased, but of course, the majority of my favorite villagers were in series 3, so I bought a ton of packs for that series. I also agree that series 4 wasn't the best for me. There were a few villagers from that series I had to definitely snag, but other than that, I have the least amount of cards from that series compared to the other three.

Three and four definitely had the best, especially 4, however, since my absolute favorite was in 3, I have to pick 3 for obvious reasons!
