Which Frog for Witchy Forest Theme?

I've really been wanting a Frog villager because I think it's adorable how they sit out in the rain and dislike umbrellas. I also really want to make a small marshland around a frog villagers home. The theme of my island is witchy forest. So lots of trees, mushroom stuffs and natural vibes. I'm trying to have villagers which fit my theme, so I'm trying to avoid animals you wouldn't find in a forest or similar setting.

My list of potential frogs has been narrowed down, but I'm still unsure! I've watched videos of them on youtube but I'm still undecided. Now I'm looking for opinions on which frog you guys think would fit my island best. Keep in mind I will be putting a marshland around the house, so the outside appearance does matter! Thanks so much! i think either henry or frobert would fit the best! henry looks the most realistic + the most likely to be found in a forest but i think frobert’s exterior would fit your marshland, too!

I voted for frogbert! I’ve never given him much thought, honestly, but the picture makes him look adorable, love his bright colors, and his house looks perfect for the setting you describe!

I LOVE Frobert, though all of them are really cute and have been growing on me. I think Frobert or Huck’s exterior would work best with a marshland.

Also, I agree with @xara when talking about the villager themselves; I think Huck might work too depending on the colors that you use.

Frobert or Huck would work exterior wise, but I think Huck's interior would work perfectly as well. Frobert's design though is the most marsh-frog looking.

A tough call to only choose one, but I voted for Frobert.

Huck is actually really growing on me too! I didn’t used to like him at all. Also, his house would go with tabby’s, cole’s and agnes’. So many of my villager favorites have black houses!

I agree! I don’t think I liked or knew about Huck either. The funny thing with Frobert for me, he grew on me when I played HHD (since you don’t get any interactions with them or at least in the same way in NL and NH) and I did his request which was to build him a Gracie Shrine; I had a lot of fun with that xD. I love so many of the frogs , squirrels, cats (obviously) and rabbits. Definitely need extra space and I regret rushing for all my favorites and using a few amiibo cards ><.

That is a neat idea to pick villagers to go with your island theme. That would be hard for me to do since none of my faves match my main theme.

I voted Huck out of your selection. I really like Henry though, so it's kind of a toss up. Out of the four, I've only had Huck in NH, and he was fantastic.. plus I think he'd fit the witchy forest theme quite well.

I haven't had a lot of Frog villagers, but I'm torn between Jeremiah and Frobert.

I like the color of Jeremiah's house and I like his face. I'm thinking if you decorate with the mush lamps, you can customize them to blue to add that mysterious effect.

Keep in mind that Henry is a smug. His interior is the ironwood furniture set basically; it reminds me of a modern studio for a relatively well to do person. I'm not sure if his interior would match well with a witchy forest... but maybe that could be part of his backstory?

Huck was my forced camper and within a day I grew to absolutely love him; he has the funniest dialogue of anyone on my island and his little mouth is hilarious. Plus his house looks absolutely amazing in a forest. Huck doesn’t get enough love!

I voted for Huck! I think his little log cabin is fitting, and there's just something about him that would make me choose him for this theme, though I'm not sure what it is. Like if you gave him a mage robe or something, I feel like it would just work so well! And you don't see him often either, so I think he'd be a unique villager to have!

edit: hmm but people are right about Frobert's house too. It's a tough choice! So many froggos

I think Frobert really looks the part, but Huck's house (exterior and interior) go really well with your theme. Plus I have Huck on my island and he is one of my fav villagers!

Frobert is so cute! So is Henry but Frobert is a bit more cute in my opinion (sorry Henry). I love green frogs. Actually yesterday my husband found a big frog in the yard that kinda looks like Frobert.

my second pick would be Huck mainly bc he looks so smug and his nose kinda looks like a wart plus his interior & exterior seem to fit a dark witchy theme
