I voted for Frogbert because of his house exterior! I think it looks the most nature/forest-adjacent. I bet it would look awesome hidden within a forest of cedars.

As far as I'm concerned, Huck has the best house of these four, inside and out, for the vibe you're wanting to achieve. I like the cabin sort of design to his home's exterior and the thatched roof compliments it well. It looks like a structure one would build in a marshland of a witchy forest. The interior, from the wallpaper and floor to the furniture, all go together wonderfully and pair well with the exterior. I think the whole Huck package blows the other three out of the water.

Jeremiah and Frobert's houses are instant disqualifiers for me despite Frobert's cool exterior because the interiors of their homes are too cutesy. Henry's interior design looks nice and sleek, but the furniture itself doesn't seem particularly witchy and the exterior looks too modern; all three look too modern, honestly.

Huck's not doing too well in the poll compared to Frobert, but hey, maybe something to consider.

definitely Frogbert!! his house is the most fitting, imo, and I also think he himself would work aesthetically as part of the theme :)

I am biased towards Henry, but I actually think Frobert or Huck would match your theme really well, especially if the Witch's forest is supposed to be dark and spooky-like, I think either of those two would fit that very well.

Frobert for sure if you're going for a swampy marshland! 💖 His colors and spots are a perfect fit (he looks like a poison dart frog which just SCREAMS witchie concoctions and rituals!) and his exterior/interior looks aesthetically nice amongst trees.

Huck might work nicely too depending on if you make your marshland look muddy and brown. Plus his interior makes it look like he brews potions/herbal medicine for a living.

Oh my! I did not expect so many responses and input, thank you so much everyone! 🥰

It is now down to two in my mind; Frobert or Huck 🐸

I think both of their houses would look good, Huck gets an extra point for having a basically perfect interior for the theme. Frobert gets an extra point for his colors which I feel look more witchy. Now, here is where it gets tricky. I've already got a smug (Shep) and a jock (Genji). Huck is a smug and Frobert is a jock. There is no heckin way Shep is going anywhere, I love that doggo. I did have plans to get Marshal too, but still unsure. When it comes to my villagers I prefer to have at least one of each personality and no more than two duplicate personalities. Genji I could let go, he's amazing but he did ask to move out recently and I feel like his home doesn't really fit my theme. Not to mention I have two other rabbits currently; Ruby and Coco.

Taking all of this into consideration, I'm gonna go with Frobert!

I had Prince for awhile. He's green so he looks more natural than some of the others. Of the ones you have listed, I think Henry is cute.

I think you're making the right choice in going with Frogbert. His colours definitely suit a witchy-themed island!

I may be biased (I've had Huck two different times), but I agree with the posters talking about Huck's house's interior and exterior. And especially since he has that wart, which evokes the witch imagery, for sure.

I highly recommend Huck for those reasons and more! He's a good boy with a lovable face and all the elements for the perfect spooky witch theme. Think of the toads in the three witches' spell in Macbeth!

Either smug frog for me. Frobert is based on a tropical forest frog, while the others are more generic/marsh fitting. If you don’t have a planned smug dreamie, then those two are most recommended. I went with Henry since I have no clue on what frog resembles Huck the most, and the former is clearly an American Bullfrog.

Or Jeremiah for a lazy assuming you don’t yet have one.

I agree that technically Huck is probably the better fit for the theme, especially his house. I feel drawn to Frobert more though and he fits well too. Frobert seems to be based off the green and black poison dart frog. They are found near small bodies of water in the rainforest. That is close enough to a forest creature for me! 😁

After reading they are poisonous it gives me a fun idea to put a little poison shop outside his home. He does it for good reasons though, he is too cute not to lol. Poison being used in medicine and as a treatment for certain ailments is not unheard of! :)

And, you could have either of them as a permanent resident so that I can check off another villager off of the official ACNH checklist.
