Which mouth are you choosing?

I saw a thread for noses but not mouths, so here is one.

At the beginning of the game, you can choose what you look like. This includes your mouth. There are four options, two returning and two new to the series.

Returning Mouths:
Round Mouth: A simple semi-circle. In previous games, if you chose to be male, you would get this mouth.
V Mouth: Kind of like the round mouth except more bendy, forming in the shape of the letter v. In previous games, if you chose to be female, you would get this mouth.

As of New Leaf, the eyes and mouths were pretty much the only thing locked to a certain gender at that point. With the improved customization menu in New Horizons, we finally no longer have to worry about ANY specific cosmetics being locked to only one gender! Hooray!

And now for the new mouths!

New Mouths:
Cat Mouth: A mouth that?s commonly used on cartoon cats, such as some of the ones in Animal Crossing. Is in the shape of a sideways 3.
Buck Tooth Mouth: Like the round mouth, except there?s a lone tooth sticking out. Before now, Animal Crossing humans could not have teeth, so along with knees and pupils, you can add teeth to the list of body parts that were added to humans in New Horizons!

So, which mouth are you choosing for your character?

This is awesome we can choose a different mouth ! Personnaly, I don't know which one I prefer ! The usual one or the cat one... I'll see on my character !

Not a fan of the r/uwu colon 3 smile, personally I think it's a little cringe for the most part...
I do actually have larger front teeth, lovely English teeth and all that.
But, having said that, I will probably go with the less smiley smile, I have major RBF so it fits me most!

I think I'll choose the wider mouth, though the :3 is also pretty cute.

I think I’m choosing the small v mouth but I want to do it last so I can see what the :3 mouth looks like with all my preferences on

I usually go with a basic smile so I’ll likely go with that, but I’d like to see if the other mouths fit well with the eyes and nose I end up with.

I usually go with the basic smile, though I suppose since we can change the design whenever we want I might spend some time trying out the other mouth shapes.

I hate the idea of the :3 mouth, it's very cringy, but at the same timeit's the one I think looks best so far! But I also haven't seen my ideal eye/nose combo with different mouths, so I'll have to try them out.
If I don't go for the :3, I will probably go for the boy mouth, because the v mouth has always looked wrong to me!

Same! I really only like the v-mouth. But the worst is definitely the buck tooth one, it just looks ridiculous. If there only were two teeth, then it would at least be cute.

I'm not picking the :3 because its a cute cat mouth or the like... I'm picking it because its the most 'neutral' looking mouth that isn't a huge as hell grin. It just looks like a faint smile and it looks more natural to me.

Same here! I tend to give characters neutral or grumpy/pouty expressions when I can, so that's the closest I've got for now!

Part of me is hoping we'll be able to unlock more mouth options with Nook Miles in the future, but that's probably a long shot lol

I'll go for the classic round mouth and triangle nose for my character, I'm just too used to these from past games. I've had the same look for most AC games and I still like it a lot.

I like the cat mouth but I'm also hella obsessed with that tooth so I might choose that unless it looks too goofy on my character.

i'd probably go the round mouth or the V mouth... the cat mouth is so cute but it doesn't feel as me! i was really hoping they'd do a mouth with a little pointy tooth like my icon. buck tooth mouth isn't quite what i was looking for.... but it is certainly a mouth with a tooth

I?m picking the cat mouth because I think it?s cute and, like some others have said, a bit more subtle than a full grin. It suits my style better, and I couldn?t care less about people finding it cringey :3

I'm going to pick either the normal mouth or the cat mouth. The buck tooth one is really cute but I don't have the courage, haha.
