Which Nintendo Switch games do you recommend?

i saw that but all i saw was people paint ball fights? is there more to it than that?

Well it's not just paint ball fights. In fact, it's way more complex. You're a kid who can turn into a squid, and by covering surfaces in your colored-ink, you dive into the ink and swim around as a squid (also how you fill up ammo quicker), which makes for quicker transportation around the map, and strategic tricks around enemies. The most popular mode is Turf War, where you have to cover the map in your team's ink before the time runs out, and then there's Ranked matches, which is more about meeting certain objectives and less on covering the maps, with three different modes, and all of them are unique. And yes, you could "kill" people (it's officially called "splatting" lol), but it is mostly used only to make your opponents go back to spawn and waste time. NOW, there's wayyyyyyyyy more to it than that, but that would be too much typing xD I highly suggest you look up some videos or something and see what it's truly all about! I played the first one and I fell in love with it :) Believe me, it might look weird (and almost borderline stupid) but it's addictive and crazy and a ton of fun, and there's DEFINITELY much more to it than "paint ball fights" xD

Since you're a Zelda fan, I'd wait until Hyrule Warriors is released. You get to play as your favorite Zelda characters, explore a huge world while defeating hordes of enemies, relive epic boss battles and search for special items. There's just so much to do. If you don't already have the Wii U or 3DS version, now's the time to get Hyrule Warriors.

thanks for the in depth info...i guess i'm not into paint ball matches lol...but as long as you're having fun with the game, that's kewl...i'm into farms mostly....just bought the nintendo switch yesterday and still haven't opened it yet...the only game i'm thinking of playing is stardew valley but the animation is not as good as animal crossing new leaf, it's seems so old fashion...
so i'm still hesitating...

Thank for the recommendation! I loved Hyrule Warriors back on Wii U, but I played it to death xD However, I don’t have it anymore and it’s been a long time since I played it, so now i wouldn’t mind getting it again!

I understand you’re skepticism, but from what I’ve heard, Stardew Valley is truly an amazing game! You can do so much, and play however you want and be whatever you want. I get the graphics look old, but I personally feels like it looks great, and if anything, it’s more like Harvest Moon and less like Animal Crossing so keep that in mind. But regardless of what you play, I hope you enjoy your Nintendo Switch!

Save your money for February 16th cause Bayo's coming
Seriously though, every single person who likes video games has to play this game, it's a masterpiece!

If you like RPGs I suggest you pick up Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Tons of content, interesting battle mechanics that you learn to perfect as you play through the game, and it has a great story.

THAT'S MY PROBLEM! Now I'm torn!!! Like I played Bayo 2 but not Bayo 1, but I was all like "Nahh it's okay I'll just play the first" BUT THEN I was like "WAIT NO I NEED THE FULL TRILOGY ON SWITCH WHILE I HAVE THE CHANCE (since the third is in development and I'm 1000000% getting that)!" So now I'm still trying to decide whether I should get Bayo 1/2 or Splatoon 2... Y U GOT 2 B LIKE DIS NINTENDO?????? (And Sonyponies and Xbots say the Switch has no amazing games PFFFFTTTTT)

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. I'm not even a fan of strategy but this easily became one of my favorites. As long you as like Mario, humor, and you're okay for some challenge (there's easy mode if you find it too hard), you'll probably enjoy this :)

Thank you! And yet another game I have to look out for! xD

Man, I experienced both those masterpieces in the WiiU era!

But yes, if you missed it there then absolutely snag it on the Switch. I hope that Bayo 3 has a breakout like Nier or Yakuza

I like Splatoon 2 but I honestly enjoyed Bayonetta 2 a lot more than any other game on Wii U. I mean, you're essentially getting 2 full games for the price of 1 so when it comes to which one is the better deal I'd say Bayo.

Exactly! Plus it would be nice to have all three games on one console instead of having the first and third. I think the only reason I would choose Splatoon 2 is if the Bayo Double Pack would be gone by the time I wanted to by it. Then I would Splatoon 2 and wBayo 1 on the eShop since I haven’t played that one.

Well Bayo 2 has online multiplayer and I can assure you it'll be much more active than it ever was on the Wii U version so that's something to look forward to.

I think its moreso that the Switch doesn't have many EXCLUSIVE games. So far it has ARMS, Mario + Rabbids, Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and... that's about it. Almost every other game so far is a port. And the only notable games that I can think of atm that are exclusives releasing later are Kirby Star Allies (you may want to wait for this game too, there's another recommendation), Bayo 3, and Octopath Traveler; with plenty more ports on the way. Eventually it'll clear up but for a while it's mostly going to be a port machine.

True true. It's just because my brother keeps saying how the Switch has no triple AAA like Call of Duty, Destiny and Battlefield, or Horizon Zero Dawn. Meanwhile, the Switch has been doing great, and has game that won game of the year, and with amazing games like Bayonetta, it's gaining quite an arsenal of games. And yeah, I completely get it when you say it's a port machine. I mean it's not a bad thing at all, but it is true.

It's a smaller game, but I bought ittle Dew 2+ today and it's totally worth it. It's pretty much a cuter and much more charming 2D Zelda game lol

Ah yes I heard of that game! I'll keep my eye out for it (since I love 2D Zeldas)!

You forgot the most important system seller game...
1 2 Switch.

Jokes aside I'm looking forward to Mario Tennis Aces. I don't even care for the story mode, I want to be able to play online with friends (which wasn't possible on Ultra Smash lel) and have Luma be playable again omg
