Am I the only one who really miss the Mystery Dungeon series, like whatever happened to it? I found out that it's been over 4 years now since the last title (Super Pokemon Mystery Dungeon) came out for the 3DS, ever since then they never talked about MD anymore at all. I actually thought back then that, after Sun and Moon came out, they would make a new one with the Gen 7 Pokemon in it but nothing happened, which was extremely disappointing for me. Now that we are on Switch and the fact that Gen 8 just came out, I hope they gonna make a new Mystery Dungeon game one day, as it's my favorite Spin-Off series which I enjoy a lot and sometimes even more than playing the actual main games. I would love playing as a Scorbunny (or Litten, since Gen 7 was skipped) and exploring a much bigger world. There is so much potential to make a epic new MD game, they just have to do it...

im surprised that they never made more, i know that the ds ones were super popular when i was younger and everyone loved them. They still seem super popular today even :) I hope they bring out another one, that game series is hella awesome.

I'd love it if they brought out another PMD game. I fell in love with the series with Blue Rescue Team. ♥️♥️♥️

I'm sure they're going to create a new one eventually. Not sure when! I really liked the series growing up but I sadly don't have the time to dedicate to dungeon crawlers anymore :C

I loved mystery dungeon as a kid! Even today I think popular opinion is that they were some of the best pokemon games. It would be amazing to play one with the gen 7/8 pokemon but I feel like they might end up making more remakes like Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu instead though.

I would buy another mystery dungeon game in a heartbeat. I played them so much when I was younger! They weren't as popular round where I live, but I enjoyed the stories. I got really invested in the plots and the series got me loving some pokemon I probably wouldn't care for otherwise. XD

I LOVE the Pok?mon super mystery dungeon series!! They are such an important part of my life! I loved every single one; the stories, the characters, and the music!
I also liked the new ?super mystery dungeon?, although all of the older ones still have a special place in my heart and I still play them occasionally.
I really do hope they make more :) I was wondering if it was popular enough, though!

I don't miss it because I didn't enjoy the last titles. For me it doesn't work as well in 3D, but I know that's just me being petty. Explorers of the Sky is probably one of my favorite games ever, I'd love to see a remake on the Switch tbh.

GameFreak seems to be intent on releasing a Pok?mon game each holiday season, so I wouldn't be surprised if we do see a spinoff title next year. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Pok?mon Ranger first to get more usage out of the Brain Training Pen, but you never know. I just hope the next Mystery Dungeon tells a good story again.

I miss the amount of passion that was put into Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 (EOT/EOD/EOS). The music, the story, the amount of options that were later removed... I don't really mind the transition to 3d, but I feel 2d did suit the franchise better. 3d made the dungeons feel a bit cramped for me.

While I don't really dislike pmd 3 (not counting gales of darkness), it did make me lose some interest in the series. Super Mystery Dungeon was...ok. It wasn't as great as its predecessors, but I think it was still worth the purchase.

I'm not much of a fan for games that have forced tutorials or hand holding mechanics, especially on a game that should already be simple enough to understand.

All in all super's story was still good, albeit its uninspired, half-baked final boss. I like that it tried something new, focusing more on your partner this time than on you, though I still prefer the story to be more centered on the player. I don't know if there'll be any new entries after Super, but if there is one, hopefully it'll focus more on what made the originals more interesting.

This might sound bad but the only reason I enjoyed some of them (EOS) was because I had an action replay and I could make it so I could play whatever Pokemon I wanted.

Currently playing through Blue actually! My team is Fruit Snack with a Totodile (now Feraligator) named Raspberry and a Pikachu named Lemon. Gonna 100% it like all my other games! I should get gates and super I never played them.

Blue Team was the first Pok?mon game I ever played, I'm super nostalgic rn! Explorers of Time/Darkness remains the best PMD game ever imo, Grovyle's arc was amazing.

I agree, the older ones are more nostalgic for sure just because the stories in EOT/EOD/EOS were amazing. I think they did a really good job writing the stories, even if the graphics weren?t as good as the newer versions like Super Mystery Dungeon.

YES OMG that series was one of my absolute favorites!!! I played it so much growing up, wow :')
