Who else was bothered by this in the Japanese movie?

Spoilers ahead, haha, so only read if you've seen it, r don't care about spoilers

I just watched the movie with my brother yesterday, and for one thing, I was so, soooo sad when the movie ended and the Seismasaurus fossil WASN'T put in the museum! I mean, Blathers was so excited about it, and he was so cute going on about it, and they go find it TWICE, but no one ever excavates it, or even mentions it to him??? I mean, they could have gotten so much help getting it out, and they could have made that nerd's day! I adore Blathers, and the fact they didn't even seem to tell him was super upsetting.

Also, I love how, in the english fandub at least, when KK Slider is singing a song, there are actual lyrics, but you can hear the way it sounds in the game too! It's really cute and funny, and I like it~

Poor Blathers, I thought that they would dig up the dinosaur too and then the movie ended and I was like 'Oh guess not then'

I just love Blathers so much. He's such a little nerd, and I adore him. I think he's my favorite non-villager NPC.
