Who is planning to trade amiibo cards (series 5) here on TBT?

I'm hoping to get all of the new villagers for Series 5, and trading would certainly help with that. I hadn't though of trading here before, but I think I'll give it a shot. If after getting all the villagers from Series 5 I still have duplicates from Series 5, then I would try to trade for ones I'm missing from the other sets. I also have a fair number of duplicates from Series 1-4 to trade, too.

I've never traded amiibo cards before seeing as I've barely bought any. I just had to check where to buy and how much they are. I'll check out the trading page and see how it works here. If I do I think I'll have to preorder them. I have to work that day and I fully believe the series 5's will be gone well before I'm able to get to a store. I tried to buy the sanrio cards online the morning they came out and we all know how that turned out for the majority of us. I really wish they could do something about the scalpers. They suck

I have already pre-ordered my series 5 packs and depending on who I get I may be looking to trade cards on the forum. I have a couple of villagers that I am looking for across series 1-5, I will be prioritising the ones I want from series 5 but then that all depends on which ones I get. I'm from Australia so it may be tricky to find someone to trade with if I do decide to. We'll see.

I’d like to have all of them in my collection myself before trading, and even then idk if I’ll consider it “trading” more like “giving away” because idk I don’t really want to sell them either lol and if someone wants, idk, Raymond and I have two or three Raymonds, then by all means idc take him away!

I guess we could always just summon the villagers and give them away using the Amiibo, and we could trade them that way.

Yes, definitely definitely definitely. I have 100+ series 1-4 + WA doubles that I can trade off, and I’ll be buying as many series 5 as I can find lol. I’ll definitely be around to trade!

I did a couple of trades on here with the previous sets. Worked out fine. I will probably consider it if I don’t get Sasha and the other few villagers I’m looking for when I buy some packs. Like someone else said, Canadian stores are crap for keeping stock of things like this.

i’ve never traded amiibo cards before, on here or anywhere, but i’ll definitely consider it if i actually manage to get my hands on a few packs and wind up with duplicates. i trust everyone on here, but i have a fear of anything i send getting lost in the mail, which is why i’ve always been hesitant to do anything that involves mailing things out. i’m willing to give it a try if the opportunity arises, though!
