Who is the best Alligator villager and why? 🐊

I really love Gayle because she is pink and has that adorable heart on her nose! I also love Drago! His house is so awesome in NH.

Hard 50/50 on Sly and Drago. I've used both in allot of towns I have made (especially in new leaf). Sly has the better house but Drago has the better interior, and aesthetically speaking I like Drago just a teensy bit more.

Alfonso! He was in my wild world town and I loved him so much. I had him at one point in my new horizons island but moved him out for Maggie. I still have his amiibo in case I change my mind.

Alligators are surely one of my less favorite specie for villagers! I don't like their look, their physionomy (I don't know if this word exists in English but I try haha); they look misshapen. If I have to choose, I would like I prefer Gayle for her cute expression and Drago, because he's a asian dragon which is original and nice. Worst are Alfonso and Sly, I really hate the pattern on their skin.

Del is my personal favorite. I love his red and black boat type of aesthetic. Plus his cranky personality fits. Gayle aesthetically is my favorite, the soft pink and white with the really blue eyes is so pretty. Drago is the coolest and most unique of them all though with the whole dragon theme. His house in New Leaf for 3DS was also cute.

My vote is for Alli. She’s really unique and I think her design is interesting. A close second would be Alfonso. I don’t think I’ve had any other alligator villagers.

I think Gayle is my personal favorite. Her whole aesthetic fits the kind I usually like in villagers. Unpopular opinion, I don't really like Drago. Dragons are cool, but his design and personality just isn't it for me.

Sly is the best alligator, by a landslide. Gayle is great as well. If my island weren’t completely dogs and wolves, I would have Sly. His camouflage design is unique and I think there are lots of creative things you can do with a yard for him. I can imagine his house being a swamp surrounded by cedar trees. Sly’s overall aesthetic is just perfection.

Drago, he’s designed to look like a dragon. That alone puts him miles ahead of all the other gators.

I get the appeal of Drago but idk, when I finally managed to get him in New Leaf it just didn't feel right.

I think Alfonso is best boy and Gayle is best girl

I am delightfully suprised by all of the different responses inthis thread. I myself am a big fan of Sly. I really like his coloration and those bright yellow reptile eyes are so cool

I find there is a lot of cuties in the species that most people find unattractive but I have this weird hang up about villagers being taller than me lol I want all my villagers to be smoll babies lol

I want to add some more love for Del, the robo-alligator.

I don't know if there is any correlation, but in Donkey Kong 64 there were robotic crocodile enemies. Donkey Kong 64 released 1999, Del released with Dōbutsu no Mori e+ in 2003

I haven't had any of these yet, but based on the designs, I wouldn't mind having Drago on my island since he looks like a dragon.

Drago. No, seriously, not just for the dragon thing. I have way to many memories with Drago in my town and even how he comes to it in first place. Was the time when i take New Leaf seriously and start getting dreamies and suddenly while doing the Campsite trick he appear.

No regrets in invite him into my town. He's such a cool villager to have hanging around into your town.

Alfonso for me, loved him in the acww movie (and he's in my town rn!) so I might be slightly biased. Boots and Gayle are both really cool, too

I'm very partial to Del, myself, because I don't think it gets much cooler than "pirate robot alligator". Gayle's sweet lolita dress in New Horizons has really won me over to her too, though. Something about having such an over-the-top cute/pink aesthetic on an alligator, of all species, is really charming to me.
