Who is the least ‘jock’ Jock?

Like others have said, dialogue is standard for each personality (which, incidentally, is why I don't get why people love Raymond and Julian but then, like, bash Graham for being rude and obnoxious- they're the same personality, dude). But Dom is definitely the standard "I want all personality types but don't like jocks" villager. I didn't realize his hobby was play, and now I'm regretting not taking him when I saw him on an island 😣

Raymond is actually a different subtype than Julian and Graham, and they all have different hobbies.
 
Bill is a great Jock. He doesn't have a 'jock' look and his house is not jock themed at all. He does the muscle talk, but coming from him it's funny and charming. Plus he has the 'Play' hobby so never works out.

All the personalities are like jocks with the neverending weight lifting.

That's why I avoid them all.

his hobby is play so he runs around instead of working out, and he is ADORABLE. Just a pure sweet lil frog boy. I forget he’s a jock alllll the time besides his occasional jock-forward dialogue. I can honestly say that to this day I have never seen him work out. My non-exercise hobby normals and crankiest work out way more often than he does
 
Im throwing Tad in as well. Hes my favorite villager and hearing him talk about working out while being a baby frog himself is both ludicrous and adorable, and makes me wish i had that kind of innocent delusion.
 
Definitely Dom. I actually mistook him back then for a peppy villager (yeah, I really thought he was girl, got quite confused there), as he doesn't look like a jock at all, more like a lazy IMO. Same goes for Rudy, whenever I see him, I getting more lazy vibes from him, hence why I sometimes forget that he's in fact a jock and wonder why he starts to talk about sports until I remember, lol.
 
I rarely see Boots working out... he sings and walks around a lot though, super cute! His dialogue isn't too bad so yeah, just make sure you go for the play hobby and not the sports hobby when selecting a jock. That or don't have one, there is no obligation for you to have one of each personality just because its what everyone does, unless your doing it for the jock reaction or something.
 
I think someone mentioned this but yeah tad is my vote!! i haven't seen him work out all that much and although yes, he has the typical jock dialogue for the most part, he's just adorable to look at so it kind of makes up for it.
 
I swore to god that Nintendo designed Audie as a jock villager. She doesn't seem "peppy" to me at all other than the way she speaks. She exercises more than Antonio. She won't ever remove those ugly shades that irritates me.
 
Consider every dialogue line is regurgitated for every single character of a personality, not happening. It’s honestly one of my biggest issues in this game that every single character is identical to every one of their type in everything but design.

I was going to mention Boots as well! He's on my island along with Antonio, and while both of them do talk about fitness constantly, Boots prefers to sit by the pond with a soft drink, sing at the nearby music stand, or run around with his little arms out. Antonio is the one who actually, you know, works out.
 
I would love Rudy if he wasn't a jock type D: It's just so weird and his design doesn't look like a jock at all.
 
I'm not really a jock-lover but I do love Bam! He runs around a lot like a little kid and he's cute haha
 
I have Rudy and Dom and both don’t seem to fit the jock type at all - appearance or interior of their houses wise; I only had Dom for a short time so I haven’t observed his activities much. Rudy was the first jock that I ever liked (got him as my starter). If there was a personality for villagers that like kids toys and kid activities, I’d say Rudy would fit that better (because of his interior). I think I’ve seen Rudy zooming around more than work out (then again I think his hobby is play).
 
I have Rudy and while he is a jock, he doesn't look like one. His personality subtype is "play" so I see him running around more often than working out. Plus, he is so stinking cute <3
