I've been watching these videos ever since it was on my recommendation list, and I cry 99.9% of the time when I see a really sad one. These people are amazing for what they do, rescuing abandoned animals. This is their channel on youtube, and below is a really sad one that made me cry.

I'm glad there are people in the world like this. During the summer I went to Ecuador, and felt really bad because there are a bunch of stray dogs there. When I mean a bunch, I seriously mean a lot. Like every time you go anywhere you are bound to find one. It's good though that my cousin there took some off the street, he has ~10 dogs in his home.

no i definitely do too lol, in fact i usually won't watch them because i know they'll make me cry. i love animals and i love that the majority of those videos end happily, but i just can't do it.

I one time watched a documentary about these two british dudes who got a lion cub for a pet (because that was legal apparently) and they raised him and loved him. It talked about the struggles of raising a lion cub in a small flat, so getting him exercise and feeding him enough. Anyway they eventually realized they couldn't have a freaking lion running around whatever populated British town they lived in so they connected with an African reserve that would acclimate him to his african environment. They were so sad to see him go, but knew it was for the best. Eventually they had to go back to real life, but a year later they wanted to go visit their old pet. The crazy lion taming guy said he was doing well and disappeared with his lioness for weeks on end, so there was no guarantee of getting too close or that they would see him ever again. Despite the odds their lion pet showed up on top of like this pile of rocks and they caught on video the moments when the lion first saw them after a year. Here is a 6 minute synopsis of the whole story... fast forward to 3:22 for ending... also the full documentary with commentary from the two guys is a recommended video if you got time for it
I cry everytime I watch it.... just teared up major.

oh I saw the documentary on tv about him! :)

kind of depends on what happens. i usually will tear up, but there's a few specifically where i'll cry for like a half hour

Only if I'm alone lol

I only cry in front of other people if it's so impossible difficult to not cry, or if I'm raging mad. I have a hard time crying in public though, as in, it doesn't really happen. Or in front of any people for that matter. Even when alone I have a hard time crying sometimes.. omg, am I heartless? Lol.

Definitely not just you! But I can't watch these things normally, I know how upset I'll get :( even if it's something that ends happy. Dogs are such beautiful innocent animals. They're so loyal to us and I can't stand how some so called human beings treat them. The amount of dogs I've picked up on the streets. There was one that broken my heart some months back, clearly an old dog, not been brushed, blind, going deaf and off his legs. That poor thing, he was so scared I could have sat and cried right there with him. Took him to the local shelter (about 45 mins drive away) and hope they got him home. I still cry thinking about it now...
Anything to do with animals, particularly dogs, and I'm just a mess

I cry during CUTE animal videos, sad animal videos make me die inside and I have to actively seek out one of my animals to heavily sob over and tell them I'll never hurt them. They usually try to run away. Like the same thing happens if I don't get to the remote quick enough into the ASPCA commercials...

I tear up sometimes, but I always feel better knowing that they're being rescued and that they're getting the medical treatment they need before they're off to be adopted to a family that loves them :3 I watch a lot of animal rescue videos, too. You might check out the Vet Ranch channel on youtube if you haven't already. They work wonders on even the most mistreated animals, and their organization is non-profit.

Great! ^_^ I wanted to become a vet to help animals, but I don't think I can handle the blood/doing surgeries or cutting an animal open. I can't I'm too much of a baby I cringe when I see blood/guts

nah, i dont, i spend my tears wisely

I always did this with my cat, every time I saw an ASPCA commercial or watched Homeward Bound, I made sure to find her and hold her and love her
