Who’s a better singer: Kapp’n or KK Slider?

I like Kapp'n more. I find his sea shanties fun and they always have an odd humor mixed in which I enjoy greatly.

Kapp'n gets my vote, no question. His songs are more entertaining and, most importantly, have lyrics. Amusing lyrics. There's really no way to top that. I always set my Switch to the side while K.K. is singing so I can do something else, but I actually listen to Kapp'n, lol

I’ve only seen Kapp’n in the 2.0 trailer, but I heard it and I thought: That sounds better than KK! I find KK’s lower note songs kind of annoying. And I have nothing against the guy, but he’s kind of weird.

KK slider is of course the professional musician of the island, but there's just something more nostalgic and home-feeling (if that makes sense??) about Kapp'ns songs. even if i did tend to skip them back in NL...

K.K is okay, I like getting songs from him but the live show isn’t too interesting. I think I like Kapp’ns singing is better because he has a better voice and you can actually sing along with him if you want because of the subtitles. I also like the boat ride and it’s better than K.K singing to you in the dark.

they're both kings in their own right but kapp'n is more charming imo. like yeah k.k is good at singing but kapp'n has a vibe, y'know? sea shanties just hit different. i wish kapp'n was my dad

but k.k's awoos are still god tier and i don't think kapp'n can dethrone him in that area

I appreciate K.K.'s musicianship.He does a lot with just three chords but Kapp'n's songs contain far more storytelling and emotional depth.In New Leaf,sometimes I had to turn down the sound on my 3DS because Kapp'n's sea shanties got me a bit verklempt.

K.K. is my favorite npc and i’ve always had a special place in my heart for him. i love that he has a song for literally everyone/almost any genre, however kapp’n does have an adorable voice. i do feel bad bc i would always end up skipping his song otw to the island and he’d get offended.

I like them both but voted KK Slider. I like how KK has songs from different genres and I honestly like a lot of them. My favorites are KK Casbah, Go KK Rider, Steep Hill, K.K. sonata, drivin’.

My problem with Kapp'n is that he only knows two melodies. But his songs have lyrics to them unlike KK. Still, I've voted for KK because he's got 100+ songs now.

I like Kapp’n better. I find his voice nicer than K.K. I also like the ability to stop the music at anytime. With K.K, I’m stuck all the way until the end. The scenic view is also nicer with Kapp’n. He serenades on a boat trip, whereas with K.K, you’re awkwardly standing in-front of him. Plus I don’t know what K.K’s songs are about, it’s just instrumental, Kapp’n has lyrics.
