Whose Let's Play are you most excited to watch for AC Switch?

None as I don't watch LPs as I cannot stand having to listen to someone read every bit of dialogue in stupid voices. However if someone does one without commentary, I'll probably watch that. Perhaps jvgsjeff if he does one.

That said, I'll be doing my own daily commentary-free series of videos for the first year of the game that I am super excited about.

I don't really like it when every piece of dialogue is read aloud either but I'm okay with it if it's only occasional and actually has a point to being read aloud, like they're going to make a joke about it or something. I do think Vinny is good for that

I actually never really watched let?s plays for AC, I watched when Game Grumps played but other than that I usually don?t care to. Maybe I?ll look more into that when the game is out.

GameXplain called him racist for saying he didn’t like Marina in Splatoon 2. GameXplain has been spewing nonsense like this for a while out of spite for Josh’s criticism of the peculiar tendancies of GameXplain. I’ve unsubscribbed GameXplain last month on YouTube.

Josh is pure human garbage. I realized that before I knew what GameExplain was just from interacting with Josh years ago on Twitter and YouTube.

Y'know I used to actually quite like him but even discounting all of the above I just don't think he's entertaining any more. Generally I don't keep track of the politics behind the public opinion people hold over YouTubers and I still think he's just a little annoying. I don't usually mind weird voices but I find his impressions and the like quite childish and annoying, not to mention his general attitude and predisposition to negativity. I still think it's okay to watch his content if you want though, although it's good to be informed if controversy does tend to rattle your own opinion.

That doesn’t make him a racist, just misinformed. The bout between him and Andre is just a good reflection of the current american politics divide where the left and the right are at each other’s throats. Namecalling people biggots or socialist is not convincing and it bores me. The critics he expressed on GameXplain’s practices were legitimate. Andre’s banshee-like namecalling tweets, less so. Andre’s no social justice warrior if I am to judge by the different elements he has brought forward to prove his point.

Josh deserves it and much, much more. You can't be a republican and a Trump supporter and expect to be treated fairly with how much damage they have caused to this country.

Does he have a right to his opinion, no matter how ridiculous and hurtful it is to others? Absolutely. Should he be shielded from criticism for it? Absolutely not.

This is however veering way too off topic, so I am not going to say another word on the matter and allow the thread to get back on track.

Chuggaaconroy and TheBitBlock! Have watched both of them for years, TheBitBlock was the first lets play I ever watched, and Chuggaaconroy quickly became a favorite. I can't wait to watch their lets plays. I swear all I think about these days are animal crossing, it wont get out of my head! Nintendo whyyyy, hahahahah.

But yeah, ZackScottGames is pretty cool too, so I'll probably watch his aswell.

……actually, I'll probably end up watching every lets play I can find. )

I usually don't watch LP when a game gets released. I want to enjoy the game and learn as I go.
After I while I did enjoy LinandKo Youtube Let's Play. They received ACNL in November 2012 and enjoyed watching them.

I prefer watching smaller Twitch streamers for Let's Play. It's where we all learnt how to plot reset as the streamer tried it.
I use youtube to search for a few things. It's usually looking for an answer to a question. Pick a short video to get the answer quickly.
LP takes too long.

OMG I always hoped Dashie would play NL, hopefully it could change with this one! I love him so much. Just wondering if he'd have patience with a slower-paced game.

I also hoped that he would play New Leaf one day. I think he can handle a slower-paced game like AC,
even if he plays it for one or two videos would be already amazing. Just imagine all his funny comments
about Tom Nook and all the money/bells he wants from Dashie, lol. He also just started to play Pokemon
Let's Go Pikachu recently, maybe he will try out more new games in the future, including AC? (And maybe
if lots of fans recommend him to play it?)
