On my iPad, I leave safari then come back - bam I'm logged out.
I have the remember me ticked. This was never a problem until I cleared my cache (involving passwords too)

Any sort of tips? It's so damn annoying

Edit: I had cookies disabled. I think that's my problem?

I had this problem on my phone once. I think I did enable cookies and problem was solved. But it was so long ago, I'm not totally sure but it the solution had something to do with cookies.

Yes it has to do with cookies, cookies are how your login remembrance on nearly any website is handled.

Cookies always clog my browser so I can't really enable them, but thanks for clarification y'all.

You may want to use a lighter-weight browser in that case. You have a few options here.

Firefox isn't entirely too heavy-weight, but like most modern day browsers it utilizes ram as its primary resource. If you're noticing clogging then it may be time for a ram upgrade. I'm on a mid 2010 laptop and have no problems with browser clogging with both 4GB DDR3 and 8GB DDR3. On my desktop I have 18GB of ram though, and don't have any issues there either unless I'm video processing. I don't use firefox though.

If you have a bunch of add-ons, I'd start going through them and decide which ones to purge at this point as well.

It might not be memory either. Have you cleared your Temp Cache? Have you cleared your browsing history? How much hard drive space do you have left? For a computer to run optimally your hard drive should max out at 75-80% full, which leaves room for temp writing.

Yes, I clear everything when I shut down a browser window and I have disabled pretty much everything as well.

As for hard drive, it's 135/279 GB free so shouldn't be a problem for that matter. (laptop is 2 years old)

Just did an overview of my plugins and the only one I use is Adblock and it's never been a problem.

Oh well I can live with being logged out, I really don't want a bunch of random stuff getting in my way for cookies and stuff.
