Why do people post Pokemon things on here?

On the TBT marketplace you can see people post things about pokemon, but why? Isn't this an Animal crossing forum? Im real confused lol. Does anyone know?

The TBT Marketplace is for anything that is being sold / bought for TBT

There's loads of stuff there, not just AC
