Why does everyone want Audie?

I believe one of the reason is that she is supposedly named after the New Leaf Grandma who had over 3000(?) hours of gameplay.

- Unique design.
- Is a wolf (generally popular villager species).
- Is supposedly a reference to a real-life person (mentioned in Irischai's post).
- Is the first-ever Peppy personality for wolves.

this is me. i met her on a mystery tour and had to invite her (even though i preferred sherb the most from the new villagers) and i fell in love with her the moment she moved into the island today. also her house is adorable.

I've got Dom! He's very cute. I'd love to have Audie too but I actually got the other new villager, Sherb, instead. I was so surprised to have two of the completely new villagers show up on my island!

She's super cute and pretty, her color scheme reminds me of a sunset. I wouldn't go out of my way to get her but I wouldn't mind if she randomly moved in.

to me, she’s special. i mean, she’s the first peppy wolf and she was named for the grandmother who put in 3500+ hours for new leaf (there’s been some talk that her name might be from a movie title, instead, but i’d like to think it was for grandma audie lol)

Reasons already named. I'm a wolfbro. She's got a unique personality for a wolf (I'm still mad about Dobie being cranky now). I haven't seen her in-game yet (I have her in Pocket Camp), but I'm gonna try.

Yeah, there is little to no variation in their personalities. Almost all of the male wolves are cranky :<

I like that she is a peppy wolf instead of snooty like most of them. If you like wolves she is a must have, and wolves are among the most popular species. She is also a bit cooler/mature looking than most peppy.


It also does not help that we only got 8 new villagers.

I don't know why Audie wouldn't be popular....she's a wolf,the very first peppy wolf in fact and she's one of the best looking villager's I've seen in the Animal Crossing series.

I get why everyone wants Audie, I mean she's a wolf for starters and they're always popular and she's also quite pretty. Although that said, of the new villagers we know about so far (fingers crossed there'll be more in the future) I most want the new cub, Judy - she looks so adorable!!
