Everyone always talks about it but where is it...I'm looking at my ds and I do not see one

I have an xl and omg I for some reason can not find it?? I see the light for the wifi

On the NEW 3DS XL and there's no WiFi switch. Like there's a wifi light next to the charging and power light but you cannot switch it off on the hardware itself anymore. If you just have a regular 3DS XL and not the NEW one it should be on the right side, but that's only with the old 3ds.

Well, you can always just close your DS. That shuts off the connection, too.

Does it? That's good to know. I got the new 3ds for christmas and I was worried that if I did a trade on it and someone tried to steal from me I wouldn't be able to kick them out.

No it doesn't. It just puts it into sleep mode and people can still walk around your town and come and go.
At least, on the regular 3Ds it does, don't know about the New one.
If you want to shut off communications with the New, I think the only option is to turn off the power. It's inconvenient, but I'm pretty sure it's the only option.

Hmm...that's a bummer. I guess I'll make sure to do trades on my regular 3DS then and not the new one.

how can my wifi be so bad i always got the error when opening up my ds again. lol. sorry for that misinformation there.
