I hate the sound of my voice. So I probably don't intend on purchasing one =P

Hate it.
No offense dude, but have some self-respect. You're stuck with your voice for life, love it or hate it, dont let something simple like that hold you back from enjoying things. We all have things we hate about ourselves, but you have to learn how to accept it. BTW it sounds great, I wish I could actually sing. T_T

YES GET IT!!! WAYYY FRICKEN BETTER THE KEYBOARD! AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON A RANT ON HOW WII SPEAK IS 10x BETTER THEN A KEYBOARD!! OK! DONE!

I have wii speak and i sorta find it anoying in the way that somwtimez u can here an echo of yur own voice. and u think wow that sounds horrible! But i still luv it all da way!

sometimes wii speak makes visits wierd

Maybe if I played my Wii nearly as much as my 360. The headset is used in most 360 games and it comes with it, Wiispeak works with Animal Crossing and I think maybe 1 other game. No way I'm getting it.

thats because the person your talking to has the wii speak to close to the tv..keep it like 3 feet away from you tv and talk in a normal voice..i hate when people are like shouting thinking it wont pick it up

WiiSpeak is a decent accessory, but it would have been better as a headset. Also, it most likely wont be used after The Conduit.
you know? i actually e-mailed Nintendo asking if they could possibly make a headset for the Wii-Speak, and they said, "You never know what the future holds!" and some other stuff.
