I just purchased a copy of wild world online and am super excited! New Leaf was my first game, and I've been wanting to try out some of the older games! Do any of you still play wild world, or did before?

I think it has been around two years since I have played it last. Might pick it up again eventually, currently playing some other things though at the moment.

Hey i still play Wild World sometimes. It's fun

I got Wild World for Christmas in 2010 and I played it every day until maybe mid 2014. As much as there are technically more fun things to do in New Leaf, I think Wild World will always be my favourite game because of the nostalgia it holds for me. It was my introduction to the Animal Crossing series and as a result formed my idea of what "Animal Crossing" is. The music is the best of all the games in my opinion, and the villager personalities are much more fun than New Leaf.

I don't play it much anymore as I think I've sort of overplayed it at this point (I basically have every bit of villager dialogue memorized, have had almost every villager in my town, have completed the museum twice and have participated in every event like 5 times) but I still pick it up for the nostalgia sometimes. Particularity I always play on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day as it's been a tradition since I got the game. Overall I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to try older games (although don't be surprised when there's less to do than in New Leaf)

I boot mine up about once a month thinking that I’m going to play it. I would be interested in starting a new game, but I couldnt possibly delete my save file. I always keep my eyes open at flea markets but have yet to come across a copy. Maybe one day. God knows how many hours I put into WW as a child, and I still love the game mechanics, maybe even more so than NL.
