Will being able to place villager buildings affect your amount of "dreamies"?

Dunno, I guess? I'll probably have a set of permanent villagers (dreamies) and leave a few slots open on rotation.

I'm so happy I'm not alone haha I thought I was crazy ୧( ́⁰⃙⃘Ԑ⁰⃙ఁ̀ )୨

Agree, which is why I'm upset there is not option to vote "no". All the poll options are really coursed and odd.

I'd have to vote the same if that option were available! ☆

Hehe, I don't fully understand it either.

Being able to place them where we want. How does that affect moving in who we want?

I'm going to amiibo in who I want, and move them where I want. :)

Exactly, I was thinking you can just scan them haha ₍ᐢ⸝⸝? ̫ ?⸝⸝ᐢ₎

I'm so sorry my brain's so full, I don't understand the question?
Why would placing their houses affect anything? I'm so stupid, I really can't understand... ₍ᐢ⸝⸝› ‸ ‹⸝⸝ᐢ₎

OP is saying " will having the power to not let villagers ruin your town layout affect your desire to pursue dreamies" basically if you keep the same 10 animals and nobody moves, then nothing gets randomly destroyed. Now that we're given the power, that's no longer a problem, so it may affect how you let villagers move in

I like the idea of my island changing with every villager moving in and out. I think there are like 20 villagers I'd consider dreamies, but there's a lot that I'm just okay with having. As long as I like like 80% of them I'm content.

Oh!
No, because I have my favorite villagers amiibo cards. :)

No, I don't really have dreamies, as I like to just move whoever in and let whoever move out. I do have a couple favorite villagers, but I really don't mind who will be on my island, dreamy or not.

I've never had a pre-set group of villagers/dreamies for my main town, although I have found specific types of villagers for themed towns. I wont be making any theme this time around so I like the idea of just letting anyone come in freely. After a while I will probably settle on a group of villagers I like and wish to keep but have a free spot or two, like you said, available for randoms to move in and out! I love having reserved spots now as well as being able to pick any villager's house plot.

This is the same for me. I don't really do the whole dreamie thing unless I'm doing a themed town and my main town is never themed. I like letting villagers come and go. A few will stand out to me and I won't want them to leave, but others will stay in constant rotation. It just makes it easier not having to worry about placing patterns all over my town every time I want to move a new villager in or out.

I have 3 or 4 dreamies but the rest I?ll be pretty lenient on.

I wont be bothering with dreamies just yet because I want to get familiar with other villagers. I want to see what new faces were added and also revisit some old ones to see if I like a certain villager or another more or less after the graphics update.
