Will the HHD New 3DS be available internationally?

I deliberately held out upgrading to a new 3ds xl in case an AC themed one was ever released. I think its safe to say I would absolutely buy one!

Since I haven't gotten a new 3DS yet, if the bundle came out, I'd certainly consider buying it. I love my Pikachu 3DS but I'd like to be able to use the amiibo without an adapter, and this one is really cute.

I think that there's a fairly good chance that the N3DS XL version will come out in North America, and here's why:

In a very recent interview Reggie stated that there were more SKUs coming out. However he did not specify whether these would be N3DS XLs or standard sized N3DS.

“We analyzed the results in Japan and saw the lion’s share of the volume was on the XL model, and that’s with no 2DS existing in the Japanese market. And so as we thought about: ‘What’s the best line-up for us?’ We thought the new XL and 2DS would be our best line-up. Not going to make any promises but, you know, I would suggest to your readers that they stay tuned and maybe some special SKUs might show up.”

Reggie states in the same interview that they chose only to release the XL version of the N3DS in the USA because records from the Japanese market showed that people played with the XL more than with the original size. I think that shows that Nintendo America is more inclined to release XLs than regular sized systems, meaning that there's a good chance the ACHHD version will be one of the SKUs.

The possible releases are: blue N3DS XL, LE N3DS XL (for games like Metroid, Triforce Heroes, ACHHD, etc.) and original size N3DS. (Note that these haven't been confirmed, these are simply my own speculations given what's been released in Japan and the previous N3DS trends in NA)

That means the situation is pretty much a win-win for AC fans. If they don't release the LE ACHHD N3DS XL, then they may release the smaller sized N3DS which means that we can import (or buy) ACHHD faceplates among other designs.

Unfortunately I can't speak for any other regions.

Yea, I've been thinking that since E3. I felt the New 3DS XL would've warranted enough popularity to be announced at E3, but I guess not. If we reach August without an announcement then I'm gonna say it's a lost cause.

That said, I still see no reason for them not to release it here, but it just doesn't seem like they're going to.

So I read some comments about bundles running out, and I'm kinda worried how fast do the bundles usually run out? Do they stop selling for good after they do? Sorry I'm confused,I never heard about this before
