A couple months ago I bought the Persona 3DS XL. I love the design and I'm not looking to shell out for another 3DS just to have amiibo support. I'll just suck it up and buy the NFC reader.

That aside, I do like the special design. I wanted to get the 3DS XL version when ACNL came out but didn't have the money then. I hope the US (and other countries) get nicer designs/colors in the future. Japan gets all the cute designs and colors. :c

if it comes to australia i might consider it - but i really have no plans on gettins a new 3ds, and i'd also prefer to have a physical copy of the game and not a digital copy, andi i'm also not a fan of patterns, i like plain stuff. but i dont think it'll come to australia so it's all g

Does anyone have any estimates on when this could ~possibly be announced (if ever)? I'm in the market for a n3DS, but am willing to wait a month or two if it means potentially getting this one.

I'm pretty sure the New Nintendo 3DS XL Majora's Mask Edition (ironically, the game didn't come with the system in NA) AND the Monster Hunter 4 Edition systems were confirmed for NA release a month before the actual games came out (I'm probably wrong but I know for sure there was a month timeframe for something), so there is still time for NoA to confirm the bundle's release in NA.

I just bought a N3DS (small size) in March, and already pre-ordered a HHD face plate for it, but I'm thinking of buying the bundle for my bf so I can get him to play 3DS games with me! Preorders are hard to find, and a bit more expensive than retail already though...

Thanks for the info! This is definitely interesting, I might hold off for another month just to make sure.
