Windmiles & lighthouse.

Okay I was in a freind's town a few days ago had lighthouse and there was alot more fish around that lighthosue area. The where also better.

And my freind said "I think the lighthousengives better luck of finding fish" so it got me wondering for the past few days "Does it help getting more fish and rarer fish"
We did catch a blue marlin and a ray there. We also seen a shark close to the shore not to far away from the ligthhouse.

Do you think it does get better luck? IF it does what about the windmill?

the lighthouses attracts more rare fish, and the windmill improves your town rating by a tiny bit if you're going to go for a perfect town (which you can get anyway without the help of the windmill, so really, it sucks).

Or get a windmile/ ligthhouse then donte another mile and get windmile or ligthhouse.

I don't think you can do that fleep, you just get different coloured feathers if you donate any more

I got the lighthouse, I haven't noticed any improvement.

Lighthouse should get you more fish. Thats what it says in the guide....

You get colored feathers by having a certain amount of Bells in your bank account. However, you are permitted, by town hall, to continue donating batches of 1 Million Bells to alternate from having a Lighthouse or a Windmill.

Lighthouses attract more fish into your shores. Windmills help with perfecting your town by indirectly breeding flowers, in general, and attracting more bugs into your town.

Absolutely, not.

Town Hall will only allow you to alternate between the two after you've either gotten your first Lighthouse or Windmill.

I had already decided I was going to get the Windmill since I already had the lighthouse in the original game. and since I already know I can catch every bug and fish normally in the game with patience. lol

i heard that the windmill gives you a better chance of special characters visiting your town (wendell, saharah, etc.). but more bugs sounds more realistic.
