Yeah, I'm in eighth, but I do Algebra 1, so that makes me a year ahead, and next year, I'll take both Algebra 2 and Geometry, and then in tenth I can take Advanced Math, then Pre-Calculus in eleventh, and then, hopefully, AP Calc in 12th...

And that's only Math.

:)
I've never heard of the "Advance Math" that you said you would take. I'm pretty sure it goes from Algebra 2 (or Geometry) to Pre Calc for most schools.
No, it goes to "Advanced Algebra", and then to Pre-Calc.
No, after you have completed Algebra 2 and Geometry, next is Pre Calc... unless it's different where you are.
Next is Calculus, if you want it. Pre-Calc can be taken with Algebra II....
Not really... (unless it is differnet for you). In most cases Algebra 2 cannot be taken with it. However, you can take geometry and algebra 2 at the same time. And stat with pretty much anyhting. You defineitly need Algebra II for Pre Calc though... I'm sure there are exceptions though.
That's how I plan on getting ahead; I'll take Algebra 2 and Geometry at the same time, and then take either Higher Algebra like they say, or Pre-Calc, like you say, and then AP Calc...
There is also BC... which I probably won't be taking.
I'll be taking as much Math as I can in school, and then more of it in college.
In my school, there are like 5 kids in the class, my guess is that you won't get there... it depends how you do in pre calc though.

I currently get straight A's, I expect to continue that streak.

The path I'm taking in high svhool is this (I've finished part already):
Algebra, Geometry, Alg 2, Pre-Calc, Ap calculus ab, Ap calculus bc, Ap statistics

So you'll pack that all into 4 years? Which courses in which years, though?

heh... i'm failing 2 classes, i have 3 D-'s, and i've got no grade higher than a C+...

i'm a lil short from going to digipen. ; D

WAIT!!!

I've got good news! The "Higher Algebra" written in my course schedule actually means Algebra 2! So, that means all I need to do is take Geometry with Algebra 2 NEXT year, and then I take Pre-Calc in 10th, AP Calc or AP Stats in 11th, and then the remaining class from 11th in 12th.

Sweet.

You might want to do Algebra II and Geometry seperate, I know I would suggest that for people at my school, but I'm not sure what yours is like. The reason is, is because sophmores do no do so good in pre calc.

Not to worry, my dad has a Masters in Math, he'll help if there are questions.

That is a good thing.

That is about every other though so you still will be here. Well good luck with all that work with admin and school stuff.
Actually, I have a better chance of being here than bul I think. I am interested in majoring in web design, and things similar to that.
I'm teaching myself some HTML right now. Web design and information technology is where I want to go.

Same here. I still have many years to decide though.

Actually Pre Calc is the hardest math course. You may think it is AP Calc, but those aren't as difficult after you take PC.

I would guess it would be AP Calc, but maybe you're right Storm... I don't think Alg 2 is too hard since it basically extends and adds new topics to the things learned in Alg 1.

But yeah, I STILL won't be on as much, I'll just be on more than I thought at first, since I thought there was a "Higher Algebra" after Alg 2 and before Pre Calc, but turns out Higher Algebra meant Alg 2. :\
