I don't consider what I am saying rude but does 9/11 really matter anymore? To me it seems like a marketing tool for albums, T.V., even T-Shirts.

The news companies are competing as to who talks about 9/11 the most. 60 minutes was on for more then 60 minutes last night >.>

Yes, it is sad as to what happened, but isn't it time to move on?

Before anyone says how heartless and ignorant I am read this.

1.Death is a part of life
2. The goverment is not involved with this
3. Bush and Clinton rule!!!!!
4. Civil war republicans are nubs.
5. Ignorrance is bliss.

Nothing like good old American Ignorrance.

I'm guessing you weren't effected from the devastating event that occured on the 11th of September. For one, people lost lives and family members, friends and relatives on that day. Second, all airports were shut down, also a big deal to people who weren't close to home. Third, a whole bunch of people were flown in from New York to Stephenville, Newfoundland and surrounding towns, making it a big deal to Newfoundlanders. It was a really big deal and people won't just forget it. You can't just move on like nothing happened. You are heartless.

Then we are all heartless. I remember seeing poeple going "OH Yah" when Isreal bombed Lebanon.

It is sad that they died unprepared and unknowing but that is part of life.

You won't know exactly what will happen. If you linger on what did happen we will only be stopped, unmoving. Did the terrorists win? I say hell yah they did.

*moved to off topic*

Anyway, I complely disagree with you. A lot of people still do the same thing for Pearl Harbor. And that was almost 70 years ago. If you've moved on, then you won't buy or watch all of that stuff. If you haven't, then maybe you will. TV channels make money when they show things that people want to see. People want to see it, understand what happened, how it happened, etc..., people want to remember it because it's an event that we all will remember and we need to remember.

I didn't say we shouldn't move on with our lives. You just don't understand the tragedy people go through when they lose someone close to them. There were a lot who died. It's a permanent scar in history, and we can't get rid of it nor ignore it. It matters not only to those who were affected, but the whole nation. So it still does matter, and it always will.

Exactly. It's just as big a deal as what happened in Pearl Harbour. Only cruel, cold-hearted people could ignore such a tragedy.

Why do we need to remember that planes make big explosions?

It is important to know that there are poeple that dislike us and what they can do, but, poeple are now trying to make this a "holiday", cancel school for the sake of school, and slow the econemy down with these consipiracy theories making jobs.

If my mom died or anyone that I had known in my life I would try to think of the good times. It is hard but if I don't I will have to see that my life is a hell hole. Some of us want too escape from the world and get by another day. 9/11 is a joke. Poeple die all the time, it is okay to mourn but please:

1.Don't be angry at others for not caring.
2.Try to work at what can be done to fix what can be fixed.
3.Move on.

1/3 of every patient that enrolls into a hospital dies. We don't stop for them. We stop for the fact that we were voulnerable.

Actually, I think it is worse. Pretty much everyone who died was civillian... and it was from terrorism, not war. And more people died.

:(

I find it funny how you are labeling poeple you don't know. On Chanukah are you sad for the Romans that died?

And the idea for making it a holiday was brought up a while ago, and it didn't happen.

1. How does remembering poeple dyeing help us? If it did would poeple die in the first place?

2. The fact that it was suggested is sickining enough.

So is this pity for those that lost something?

We need to understand our history in order to be prepare next time or to prevent it all together.

If you don't want to watch a show about it, then change to one of the other hundreds of channels.

You spelled people wrong. I don't celebrate Chanukah, but if I did I'd be sad for Romans. You have to feel sadness if something dies, it's just the humanly thing to do.

Unless you're playing New Super Mario Bros. and you're beating TwilightKing.
Chanukah is a holiday of the Isrealights. Here is what basicaly happened.

Romans invaded Isreal
Rebel Jews (small in numbers against giant roman army)
Rebel Jews vs. Rome
Rebel Jews win.

It doesn't. It makes us sad. You'll never understand, will you? It makes us sad, but it makes us feel better sometimes that they're there watching over us.
There is the problem. I don't believe in Heaven like that
