Would it be worth copping a switch for the new AC?

I would definitely consider it. Even if it means buying the Switch Lite instead. Then if games peak your interest, or you want to try a new franchise, then the possibility is there.

Yes, I'll be getting a switch just for this game. The only question is...should I get the Lite or the regular one? Hmm... I think I will have to hold them both in store to decide. The switches are SO big T.T

Don't go for the lite. Giving up docking for $100 is not worth it. The next 3-5 years you own that switch, that $100 saved with not be worth the regret of not getting to use capture card or HDMI.

I think AC is one of the few games that would be worth buying a system for. I've literally put well over 1000 hours into NL which is easily more than the rest of my games combined. If you're similar it's probably worth the investment. That's like $0.50 CAD per hour of gameplay.

Definitely, I honestly hardly ever use my Switch, but I'm sure that will no longer be a problem with the new game.

Title basically. Not a lot of games on the switch really interest me but I do like ac... Just looking for some thoughts.

I am a huge gamer, but I am fussy with my money, as I am saving money because I'm currently studying a Bachelor's degree at uni (yes, I can watch lectures and do assignments, with gaming on the side). My lecturers and arents encourage me to play games anyway, because too much study can burn yourself out and you can't concentrate on your homework (however that can backfire).

Anyway, back on topic, I want to buy Switch Lite, and I am pre-ordering tomorrow, because I want New Horizons, and while I wait, I've pre-ordered Lady Layton and Luigi's version of Mario Bros. At first, I was hesitant in New Horizons, but I'm convinced in buying it now. It looks like Animal Crossing has improved over the years now.

I never wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch, it was too much money $400. But Switch Lite is only $199 when I trade an extra console (I accidentally bought three 2DSes, so I can trade in the one that's not connected to internet) plus two games I don't take interest anymore.

Ah, my "p" doesn't work properly on the keyboard. It's "parents", not arents lol.
