You hear a loud THUD on your roof, and your heart jumps with excitement over what Jingle might have in store for you this year. As he gleefully slides down your chimney, you jump out of bed and run down the stairs to see if you can catch him in the act as he starts putting presents under your tree. Unfortunately, Jingle doesn't seem to feel like being caught, and he turns to you with dismay as he explains that prying eyes are against his rules, and he'll now have to take all the presents back up to his sleigh... But what's this? Jingle's phone starts ringing, and he flushes with embarrassment as "Baby Got Back" starts blaring from his pocket. He sighs and tells you that if you keep his love for 90's hip hop a secret, he'll let you keep your gifts. You smile as you remove your one lone earbud, and Jingle grins as he realizes that you've been listening to some good ol' LL Cool J. Now that Jingle realizes he's in the presence of a kindred spirit, he offers you a challenge: guess what's inside each and every wrapped gift and he'll allow you to keep anything you can guess correctly. You grin, firmly shake his hoof, and say...

Wrap battle accepted.

Between now and Christmas Eve we're going to show you four wrapped presents. You'll have two days per round to attempt to guess what the item under the paper might be.

You will receive 20 Snowflakes for each gift you guess correctly. You'll also be automatically entered into a raffle for the chance to win a Special Snowflake collectible for each correct guess, for a maximum of four raffle entries.

Rules

  • Only one guess per gift.
  • Do not include multiple guesses or items in the entry field. You may only guess one item per round.
  • Your guess cannot be changed after it has been submitted.
  • Do not share answers or hints with other users.
  • Do not post your guess in this thread.

How to Submit

  • Once you are ready to guess, create a new thread in the Submissions Board with your answer, and be sure to choose the Wrap Battle option and corresponding round number from the dropdown menu. Please be sure to place your guess in the box marked "Your Guess". You will not receive any confirmation if you were correct until after the guessing period for the current gift ends.

Prizes

  • Correct Answer: 20 Snowflakes.
  • Bonus Prize: for each gift that you guess correctly your name will be entered into that gift's raffle for a Special Snowflake collectible. Names will be drawn from each of the four raffles after the conclusion of the event.

The answer to the first challenge was: a Nintendo Switch! Answers such as "Switch Lite", "Switch console", or any variant of "Limited Edition Switch" would also be acceptable. An answer such as "gaming console", "Switch case/carrying case", or "3DS console" would not be counted as correct. Those of you who guessed correctly can expect your Snowflakes in the next distribution batch!

For our second gift, we have a dumbbell! Other acceptable answers include "barbell" or "hand weight". Unfortunately, I can't accept things like "duck and pigeon shaped like a dumbbell" or "anything dumbbell shaped but not actually a dumbbell", though I loved reading through all the guesses like this! Fun fact: no one guessed the correct weight of the dumbbell, which is actually 15 lbs. Snowflakes for this round should be distributed tomorrow!

Our third gift was hand soap! Kudos to those of you who guessed where it was from - I see we have other BBW hand soap enthusiasts in our midst. I'll also accept answers such as "hand wash" or "liquid hand soap", but your guess must have included the words "soap" or "wash" to be counted! Answers like "a bottle", "hand sanitizer", or "bottle of lotion/perfume/etc." won't count for this round. Also, please see the updated Rules section and this round's announcement post for important info about guess formatting going forward! Snowflakes for this round will be distributed soon. ❄

Our 4th and final gift has been revealed, and we have... a yoga mat! Other acceptable answers include "exercise mat" or "workout mat". Snowflake distribution will be a bit different this time, which I'll be explaining in the announcement post. 💪

Can we get better angles of the pictures or are we just stuck with the one. ;c

Are there any rules against discussing what the image is like heights/hints/etc within the image within the thread or is this like house of mirrors where we can even discuss the content of the image,

Public discussion, speculation, or sharing answers isn't allowed I'm afraid!

Alrighty, can you possibly add that to the rules plz cuz i saw the no public guesses and i assumed that it was just for guesses.

Added a bit about sharing hints, though it is stated that sharing answers is disallowed. :)

Does it rattle when you shake it? 🤔

I know you won't answer that, of course. This could be fun.

I feel like I must be missing something. Are we supposed to just make something up that would plausibly fit into a present of those apparent dimensions? Otherwise, couldn't it be literally millions of different similarly-sized objects? Or is there a subtle hint or clue somewhere that we're supposed to find? Or what?

And how precise does the guess have to be to be considered correct? I mean, just as a crazy example, let's say the present was car-sized and even car-shaped, and there was, indeed, a car inside. Would you have to guess the exact make and model and color of the car, or would just saying "car" be considered correct?

That's certainly... a wrapped present lol. This should be fun lmao

Has this been done before in a previous Christmas event? I'd be surprise if anyone got a correct guess before. The shape and size is so vague, can be anything really. 🤔

You should be as precise as possible with your guesses! I'll allow some wiggle room with more umbrella-like terms, but if something is too far off or seems to be an attempt at getting a correct answer with the most vague response possible it likely won't be counted as correct.

This is actually the second iteration of this event, the first being in 2015's Jingle's Jolly Jamboree. 🦌
Just to be clear, when we create a thread, what title should we use?
The title can be anything you'd like, just please be sure to include the round number and put your guess in the box marked "Your Guess"!

I think I have my guess, though no clue how I got it. This is such a cruel game- but I guess its a lot like guessing real life presents under the tree!
