Your AC face

Hi,

I created this thread to ask you people your opinion about the choice of your face in AC. (And if it was chosen "naturally" or by "lying")
I am personaly stunned by the number of people who chose the face #1 simply because it looks better.
I personnally have the face #1 because I answered frankly. (And without knowing anything about ? certain guide or whatsoever)

So I wanted to know, did you guys answered honestly the questionary of the cat from the train, or did you just chose to answer the questionary according to the face you want? (Which means you kinda lied...)

I got face #2 on my first character by answering the questions how I felt like answering them.

I got face #6 on my second character deliberately and I love it ^-^

I don't see why it's such a big deal that people want to have control over what their face looks like. It's no different than wanting specific furniture to decorate your house with instead of just decorating with random stuff.

There's nothing wrong with planning ahead what your character will look like at all. I personally think that AC should just make Blanca meet you on the train, and because she has no eyes you must describe to her what you look like and that's when you can pick skin colour/hair colour/eye shape ect. I just came up with it and it's a good fit.

Faces and furniture aren't the same, compare it to real life. :c
I mean, otherwise, it means so many people have the same face and it reduces the diversity!
I mean most of the people I have traded have the same face as me, I feel like i have twins everywhere.

That would have made a good idea.

I have #9 on my main. I believe it's the best pair of eyes to cross-dress with, so I guess you can say I "lied" on my answers.
I have #4 on my pattern holder, who's male; I answered them without looking at a face guide and I like how it turned out. ^^

(HATE that face because I can't do any tomboyish looks... I hate this face system in general)

Not really. If people answered the questions "honestly" I think there would be far less diversity, because a lot of the answers are weird, which means people likely would only answer in a few different ways. I see all kinds of faces in screen shots and when trading with people. Then a lot of people just wear the funny glasses. This just seems like a silly thing to complain about.

Used the guide of course, and chose face 8. We have no control over the face we come out with in real life, so might as well have more choices in a game. Since... it's a game, it's not supposed to be exactly like real life. I have enough real life in real life.

Also personally, I really don't care if someone answers "frankly" to the questions Rover asks. It's not like it makes you better. If people answered frankly faces 5,6,7,8 would be pretty much unobtainable because the first answer is "I don't remember." So unless someone has loss of memory about an AC village... good luck getting those faces.

I didn't use a guide (got face 5) and I never did in previous games. On the Wii I had face 6, not exactly my favourite but I've always liked getting stuff random.

To make sure I didn't get sparkly eyes-- even if my town was perfect-- I couldn't live with sparkly eyes!

I answered that because my town is named the same as in previous games, so I've kinda been there and I didn't want it to be a secret.

I got my face (as seen on my avatar) by answering honestly.
I've tried to use guides on hair and faces in past AC games, but I always find at the end of it that I don't like the result nearly as much as I thought I would. Now I just let the game handle it, and usually end up happier with what I get.

Mine's the third female face. I looked at a face guide before I answered the questions and I liked that one because it was the most like mine in real life.

I don?t remember what I number I have, it?s the one I like the most though, and I got it while I answered naturally.

I tried to do the survey on my personal opinion, but I didn't like how face #2 would look moving forward.
So, my current face for Roy is #9! And I've gotta say, he looks super cute dressed as a girl (and a boy as well ^^;

My main character got face #5 (male). I answered using a guide.
My second character got face #10 (female) using the guide.
My third character got face #3 (male) just answering like I would have had I not used a guide.

Obviously, I'm really happy with my mayor's face since I deliberately picked it, but I wouldn't have hated the honest face either. There were just some faces I wanted to avoid. With the town layout I got, I'm glad I used a face guide so that I wouldn't have to start over.
