Your favourite teacher?

my history teacher in year 8-9. i really improved on that subject because of her, and she was really good at disciplining the class but building a strong relationship with us and making things fun frequently

my current mentor in university. her classes are challenging but she's obviously passionate and knows her stuff (I swear she knows everything related to her field??) and she's easy to talk to. she's also really considerate too. we took a trip for a convention and she literally covered our housing expenses. the only bad thing about her is she takes on too much and has a super busy schedule so sometimes it feels like u can't get the amount of attention you want. there's another prof I like too because she's just adorable and quirky and really fun to talk to! I talked to her for almost an hour about things you'd talk about with a friend.

I've had many great teachers/professors. However, there's just one that really changed my life, and that's the oboe teacher I had from late last year up to just a month ago.

To put it really simply (and not to exclude giving credit to the individual who inspired me to pick up the oboe to begin with and get into taking lessons, because without her none of this could have happened either), she picked me up from a very dark place. It's a long convoluted story.

I had this one teacher during my junior year oh high school. And honestly, he was so awesome. He always wanted to talk to me, since I never talked much. Fortunately I had him during my senior year as well. I wrote him and thoughtful goodbye letter and GOD I miss him.
