I remember catching all the fish in the Game and feeling extremely well about it but decorating the town was the thing that made me the happiest. even if my town is now full of new flowers and the paths are weird because of new villagers

Certainly it would be finding Chief in my campsite yesterday. i was hoping to find villagers on my wishlist, but he is at the very top of my wishlist. i found him only about 6 hours after finding Skye at my campsite (another villager from my wishlist). i thought i would have more luck from plot resetting rather than the campsite, but i suppose not so far.

probably when i built my flower clock and when my first jacobs ladder grew! it was probably only a month or two into playing my game but 12 y/o me felt so so happy :')

I met my partner of 7 years now due to New Leaf and these forums. I would say my favorite memory is the first time we "met" on Tortimers Island to catch bettles together

Probably catching a scorpion for the first time. I remember being so scared by it and tried the best I could to remember what to do to catch it from videos I'd seen. I was so relieved and exhilarated when I finally caught it because I was so sure I would do something wrong and get bit.

A few of my favourite animal crossing memories in general are from my first town, I had Kabuki, Elmer, Rosie, Sterling, Diana and Annalisa. I have fond memories of just playing around in rosies house (I think she had that makeup box item and i'd just open and close it over and over again lol) same w Diana bc the music in her house was so calming. I also remember getting the hair-salon after years in that town and I was wearing my little christmas outfit as it was winter in my game at the time! had some really nice times playing NL

My happiest is coupled with my saddest... I time traveled one day, and Pecan ended up leaving my town.. I was devastated...


Flash forward a couple years, and I managed to get Pecan back in a new town!

Yes I have! My mistake was that I jumped too far ahead too many days, now I just jump one day at a time

Back in 2019, me and a group of two other friends visited Aika Village together. My friend managed to mod his 3DS, so he was able to make his town Aika Village then invite us over. It probably doesn't sound like much, but I hold that memory close to me for some reason. I'd like to try and do something like that again. Unfortunately my friends keep missing out though.
Fun fact: The room behind the drawer blocking it off is (iirc) simply an empty 4x4 room with common wall and flooring. And also Aika's island is completely devoid of trees for some reason.

Honestly that's the moments I remember the most to. Not the modding/hacking, but just spending time with friends, visiting their towns, and going to the island to do games. I can probably count the amount of times I visited my friends islands on NH on one hand.

Yeah. For some reason people in NH don't want to just... hang out for a bit. It's all about trading these day.

My happiest moment? I can’t even pinpoint a moment, since there’s so many things I liked about this game and that things just happen overtime in animal crossing. I can say I remember visiting Walker’s house often and talking to him, enjoying every bit of his dialogue and personality, seeing him clap to me mashing the piano, and him bowing when I left. I just found those little interactions so cute and joyful. I loved my villagers in this game.

My happiest moments were definitely spent with my online friends in our towns. We would have fun little parties and sleepovers. We would be so wild and we acted so dumb, we were all dumb little kids back in 2019. I felt carefree with them and I had so much fun playing around
For the actual game though, it’s definitely when I got my favorite villager, Moe! I was so happy to get him from a fellow tbt member and I didn’t even mind paying for him. I hadn’t seen him since my wild world days and it was so nice to see his cute face. I’m a huge moe fan girl and will be forever
