As 2015 comes to a close it's the time to reflect on the year it's always a blast to see your progress throughout the months.
Feel free to share your best pieces this year in this thread or post your 2015 summary!
I swapped laptops halfway through the year so a good half of my drawings were wiped, so all the empty spots were filled with sketches xAx (click!)
This was my all time favourite and still is. I felt so proud of it. And still do.
I took a break from posting art on here. I was so burnt out, but I kept doodling quietly to myself on my S Note.
I loved this style- it was realistic but still cartoony.
My style changes every day. But I'm quite fond of this drawing, I did this today on my new tablet.
I still love my old S Note but it overheats and the screen flashes. If it weren't for that tablet, I wouldn't be posting this. Heck, I might not even be on this forum anymore!
i donno. I love to see improvement and I feel all snuggly inside typing this.. The only advice I have for new artists is that you should NEVER give up on art. Just keep drawing- it's the only way to get better. No, you don't need to take an art course- it's much better if you just improve on your own, it's what I did.
My drawings are not good enough to call art. But I'm still very very happy with this improvement.
If I never joined TBT, I would not be where I am today in art. If I didn't post freebie threads, I would not be posting this. So thanks, guys. Thanks for letting me draw your OC's terribly, and thank you for saying "thank you" even though a four year old could draw it. I'm really happy to have you all. I hope you all had a wonderful year, and I hope the best for your next.
Really it is?ಠ_ಠ Lol I'm genuinely shocked...i felt like I never had a consistent style o.e
I did realize that I used a lot of pink back then though haha
p.s I really like that piece you drew for me

well yeah. Especially if you take away the color and just the lineart (is that what it's called? idk lol) is left.
lol pink is nice though. p.s thank you <3 I don't get a lot of compliments on stuff I draw randomly but when I do it really makes me happy, and I sometimes even tear up lol

I'm really glad to hear that posting on tbt has helped you so much <3 but remember that art isn't about how well someone can manipulate their pencil, or how skilled someone is with the brush...it's all about self-expression and enjoyment! If you've had fun with a creative piece, it's art
Thank you everyone for the great replies *v* keep them coming!
i was pretty confused this year and tried many different styles but wasn't ever really happy drawing cartoons and anime . once i started drawing realistically i finally felt proud of my work , and found who i am as an artist .
