Today, Nintendo released the YouTube App for the Nintendo Switch!

What's your opinion about it? Are you going to use it?

To be honest, I find it pretty cool. It's much better then the one on the Nintendo 3DS,
which I never really used, only a few times since it wasn't that good in my opinion. I
guess I will use the YouTube App on the Switch often now.

Quite honestly, it is about time considering the Wii U has had a Youtube App for years now! lol Hopefully, this means services like Netflix and Hulu will be coming to the Switch in near future. :)

I'm honestly so excited for this lol. I love watching YouTube in bed but my laptop is too big to lay down with and my phone screen is just too small. I would use my TV but my bf can't sleep with it on. So having it on the Switch is great since I can lay down and use headphones with it

I'd probably be more excited if it was Twitch.tv, it's for some people I suppose, since I'd likely never view either on the Switch.

Really good so far! I'm honestly impressed by how quick the software loads videos. The only downside to it is that I can't make comments. Rip.

kinda a late timing to have YouTube on the switch now
and I do wonder if they will put Netflix on the switch someday.

Tbh if switch had a camera and more apps like Netflix etc and remove that online feature it could be the best console ever. YouTube on switch looks way better than the 3ds and I'm glad that finally added it after like 1 and a half year smh

I mean, I guess it's nice but my phone will always be more convenient :p

I don't think I'll ever use it, because if I do want to watch things on YouTube and I'm in my room I can just use my PC. If not then I can just use my phone (or tablet, which rarely gets used nowdays tbh). There isn't really much of a reason for me to use it for anything except gaming really, every device previously mentioned has a better resolution anyway, and I'd rather prolong the Switch's battery life.

Cool. I hate the controls though. But it's definitely better than on the 3DS. Not sure if I'll ever need it, my tablet has a thick case that can be used to make it stand on its own and that's far more practical on my table or when I'm in bed.

I'd much rather see Netflix though, especially for the offline downloads.
