it seems poorly made and lazy. only thing i liked about last years rewind was that it actually felt like a FRICKING SERIES, because that's what it's supposed to be. this does not. it's just a bunch of milestone videos put in a top ten video.

at least they had felix's and marzia's wedding so that's all i want

it comes off as SO lazy. it's cool they had actual relevant content but its nothing even compared to 2018's. atleast we could laugh and make fun of 2018 but this is just a bunch of statistics in video form.

It was better than last years, but it was so boring and soulless and seemed extremely low-effort. As bad as the one from last year was, at least it looked like there was work put into it to film it and do special effects and co-ordinate, even if the ideas were not good. This looks like it would have been EXTREMELY easy to make.

Boring. The cringey ones were pretty entertaining and fun to laugh at, too bad people turned cringing into hating and made YouTube change it. YouTube Rewind had much bigger problems than being too childish though, like why make one Rewind video for the entire world and why feature creators who had absolutely zero impact on the year... Like who defined 2018? Certainely not vloggers who were last relevant in 2013. If they did one in 2019, it should have featured creators who actually influenced YouTube this year and made an impact. I wonder if they did Rewind this way because every YouTuber they ask every year turned it down, like they didn't want to be part of a cringey video that would be mass-disliked.

The actual video wasn’t awful but it’s incredibly lazy compared to every other year, making this year’s even worse

However if i remember right they’ve recently had to pay up after breaking some laws around collecting children’s data or something (pls don’t quote me on this)??? That probably blew all of their production costs and more

I'm really disappointed with the latest YouTube Rewinds. It makes me miss JibJab's years in review like they did from 2005 to 2014.

In all honesty, I'd rather have YouTube stop making rewinds completely rather than churn out stuff like this.
