Yeah I agree about those methods not proving to be true. Cause I talk to all my permanent residents everyday and they've all asked to move before the last two I need to move out.

I was sad too to let her go, I still don't understand why she wanted to leave me so bad :C I really like uchi villagers and she was my favorite. Renee was hard to plot reset, I wonder if that was a sign that she wasn't meant to be.
I'm trying to be diligent in keeping all my villagers permanent. But surprises do happen. Sorry you had to let go of Renee.
Just saw your Renee thread. We have the same taste in villagers Renee just moved out of my town, I loved her but she kept wanting to move within less of a month being in my town.
