I got mine off Kijiji (a website where you can check what people in your area are selling) and breeders sell pets there, I think it's only for Canada though... A website like that, that you trust, can really help! If you live in the U.S you might need a license to own gliders (same with most exotic pets).

They are worth it though if you want to get one, they live for 15 years btw!

They are a high energy pet and it's best to have a minimum of two gliders (unless you have 8 hours a day to play with them) because they get lonely and bad things can happen.

They are messier than you would think and not a cuddly pet, but they are fun and you can play games with them like a cat, feather chasing games and Khaleesi played marco polo with me the other day. They bark like a puppy when they want your attention and have a bunch of weird noises you wouldn't expect them to make.

When they are in a god mood they will "groom" you, sitting there for 10 minutes licking your finger.
Lots of work and they need a huge cage (I'm using a two story ferret cage that we had to customize with metal chicken wire because they can "apparently" squish their bones to go through things they shouldn't be able to get through.) xD
