  • Omg ... The dragon who likes shiny things is the one I voted for! ❤️ ... And I love the idea of your Kaiba ... I wasn't thinking of a yugioh connection ... I know that Tina spent hours pouring over all the poetry entries and found it hard to narrow the choices down to just ten ... So don't feel bad ... I have done these fairs for a couple of years and always enter everything, and this is the first time I have made it onto one of the finalist lists ... Lol
I am with you on the mushy stuff ... and you're right ... I save my passion for art ... I'm really enjoying learning how to do digital art ... Just need more time and more talent!
Considering how many amazing players were in the tournament, and also considering the fact this is my first tournament, I feel very lucky and content to have gotten third! I'm just a bit sad I couldn't have helped you out.
Well, I failed. Toast got me. I don't feel like I was prepared enough for it, to be honest, because I killed myself twice. I'm really glad I made it to third place, though! I feel very happy.
He played Corrin against me, a pretty powerful character to Bayo. But I can only try my best, and getting second would be good enough for me for sure. But maybe I'll get lucky!
I love humour and I think the humorous entries are always well received ... maybe you just weren't striking the right funny bone ... heh heh
I have gone through several of these fairs and contests now ... they have all been lots of fun to participate in ... I particularly love the art banners and collectibles for this Fair ... I think they were brilliantly done ... *sigh* ... i do love to collect the little pixelated art bits in my sidebar ... I blushingly admit to being an avid collectionist
If I had to make a list of characters I hate being matched up against, Yoshi would be on that list, just because of how powerful he is. Bayonetta is pretty overrated. Bayonetta is easier to play with against big characters like Bowser and Ganondorf. Short characters like Yoshi and Ness are harder, because the forward smash can actually go above them, which happened in one of our games I think.

I doubt I'll win, because ThePhil is an amazing player, but he beat me 2-1, so I guess there's a small chance. Either way, it would be an honour to get to second place! Thank you for your support!
Yes ... I am really enjoying the Fair! I am still such a big kid about stuff like this ... I have entered absolutely everything possible ... I can't do the discord events or the tournaments ect, but everything else Im right on it! lol ... I did manage to place in the poetry contest ... mine is no 4 if you're reading them, and yep ... eagerly looking for a black feather and a white feather, and the creme de la creme ... the rainbow feather!! *sigh*

Hello! Just a friendly reminder that the Mario Kart 8 tournament starts in roughly 5 hours from the time you receive this VM, at 6pm PST!

If you would like, I threw a Discord server for this event, so feel free to join!

Thank you and best of luck!
Oh, of course. I'm a total knob sometimes. Completely forgot about that. Well, if I win the adapter I'll try and instruct the staff to send it to you, from me. And no, I don't want anything in return.

The landing lag is actually a good opportunity for Bayonetta players like me, because that's your time to use Witch Time and turn the tables on your opponent.

The best way to beat Bayonetta, coming from someone who mains her and has next to no trouble beating other Bayonetta mains, is to get the stereotype of her character out of your head. If the forward slide is used ridiculously often, you'll just get blocked and grabbed. And when you're doing your neutral A, it's important to stop at the second throw if your opponent has their shield up, so you can down A and up smash them.
Man, I'm so sorry. Had I known that, I may have let you win at least one of the games.

Lag is a big issue for Bayonetta, because she relays on speed a lot. Without that, it's easy to defend against her attacks and punish.

I can make a deal with you, though. I doubt I'm gonna win the whole tournament, but if I do, I'm gonna contact the staff privately and ask them to give the adapter to you, if you get to second place. I don't want it and I'm not comfortable with giving my address out online, so yeah.
I think this is the third or fourth time I've been banned. To be honest, it's probably more to do with the fact I main Bayonetta than to do with how good I am, because I don't think I'm that powerful. I've never played a tournament in my life.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I can tell it means a lot to you, and much more than it means to me. On both games you got me down to my last stock before I got you down to yours, so I think the result was really just luck on my side, because I remember on the second game my forward smash hit you twice, and killed you on the second go.

I'd be more than happy to play with you again at some point. Maybe when the tournament is over, though, because I'm trying to keep all my focus on that for the time being, and being banned prevents me from practicing as much as I'd like to.
Thanks! And yeah, I understand. Neither did I, to be honest. Thought for sure I'd be dead. I'm banned on For Glory at the moment (due to salty reports), so I haven't bothered to play much.
Oh, sorry! You went offline after I'd sent that, so I left as well. We can play now, sure!
I'm on right now, if you want to play. I'll probably only have half an hour or something, but we could get it out the way now.
