  • I've actually had him muted for my own personal sanity, but if it's what I saw making the rounds, then yeah
In 2015, then-Governor Pence passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This law essentially allowed all types of service to LGBT people in Indiana to be denied (a similar outrageous bill passed when I still lived in Mississippi the following year with the man who is still governor there today, Phil Bryant).

Also, while he was in the House, he opposed the Employment Non-Discrimination Act in 2007 and the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act in 2009.
I dislike them both strongly, but I'll admit, I find Donald Trump better than Mike Pence simply because Pence passed very homophobic legislation when he was governor of Indiana.
Yes, I literally meant almost anybody. Although I lean towards liberal ideals, I still consider myself an independent and refuse to align with any political party. While I don't agree with many of the positions taken by the Republicans you listed or most Republicans today, I would still prefer to see them in office versus Trump. In my opinion, Trump's recklessness, lack of knowledge and lack of basic human decency are dangerous and put this country at risk on multiple fronts. Therefore, any reasonable candidate, regardless of whether I agree with their stance or not is still better than Trump.
    I mean that's fine but

you can't really expect the whole world to have the same vision on things like you do
I'm sensitive too but you just need to learn how to cope with it instead of pointing fingers to others imo, it won't work out in the end.

Just a little advice from me but you don't have to do anything with it if you don't want to
Actually, I'm curious why you asked a second time though? I noticed that the other time that I was asked this question was also by you.
I get asked this a lot, I don't personally view it as excessive, but the reason I do it is when I'm bored with the current threads. The rules only say to avoid bumping old/inactive threads if the topic isn't relevant, so I only post in threads where the topic feels timeless. If there is already a "do you prefer coffee or tea?" or "what pets do you own?" thread, I don't feel those topics are time-sensitive enough to warrant completely re-making them. I never post in inactive threads related to completely irrelevant topics, like very old political threads, or threads about movies that came out years ago.
hey!! so obviously i see you around the bell tree forums a lot and i was wondering. how often do you spend on this website a day?
I have a friend IRL that would second Coolidge being underrated.
IMO, the most overrated would be John Adams and the most underrated would be Woodrow Wilson.
This is completely random for me to ask you, but who would you say are the most overrated and underrated presidents in U.S. history?
