  • By using the Wayback Machine, I was able to find a lot of interesting things on TV Tropes from before I started reading.

Like, for example, how when the site was new, there was a page in Darth Wiki to complain about shows you don’t like. It was quickly scrapped. Or how certain tropes that are definition-only for flame bait reasons, like Idiot Plot, used to have examples before they became too controversial. I think I’m going to use the site more to check out TV Tropes’ past.

Okay, I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that I did find the Moral Event Horizon page for South Park. It’s right here.

The bad news is I couldn’t find the others. An Aesop for South Park seemingly wasn’t archived, and the Toy Story Surprisingly Realistic Outcome has one capture, but that’s an archive of the page after being cut.

Here are some of the most extreme examples from the entire show:
    • Cartman forcing Kyle to pay millions of dollars to get a kidney transplant to treat a life-threatening condition.
    • Stephen Stotch selling his son for $250 million to a spoiled brat and scolding him for not wanting to be sold.
    • Jeff Bezos tricking kids to opening Josh Carter’s box, knowing that it would kill him.
    • Randy Marsh bombing homegrowers’ gardens to get a monopoly on his marijuana business.
    • Mr. Garrison killing a pangolin and the scientist so he can continue the natural genocide against Mexicans.

I know the Scott Tenorman incident was evil, but Scott Tenorman was an unlikable character anyway. But the very idea of refusing or blocking donations to someone with a life-threatening condition out of greed or hate spooked me, which is why I didn’t choose the Scott Tenorman thing.
I have some more “Assorted” collectible sidebars. This time, they’re “Assorted” Tradable Collectible sidebars.

I have suspended my quest to getting the Flower Glow Wand. I probably won’t get that for a while. For now, I came up with two sidebars I would alternate every week. They are free from rainbow coordination, but categories and backgrounds are never repeated. Here are the two sidebars:

Just letting you know, I’m free to discuss this site off-site and link any discussions here, but I promise not to discuss other members negatively, bring up another’s past scandal, or bring up the political dramas when discussing this site on another site.

Here’s an interesting place to check out:
I still haven’t given up my quest for the Flower Wand. If anyone is nice enough to give me one for free, I would gladly appreciate it.

By the way, the last time I had a Flower Wand, I gave it away to a friend for free as a goodbye gift back in 2020.
My quest for the flower glow wand begins! Hopefully my house set will budge.

In the past, I hoped for others to get their glow wands when they wanted them. Maybe they’ll do the same for me.

What’s your favorite genre on TV Tropes? Mine used to be Western Animation, but it’s changed to be Video Games, with Live Action Film being a close second.

I came from a small town! (Longview in Northeast Texas) but now we live in Katy. I’ve lived in Dallas for a little bit and Austin and my dad lived in San Antonio so I was there a lot as well.

I don’t live in Longview, but I live close. I live in an even smaller town.

Although I am not a mod, here’s a list of following that you shouldn’t discuss when we’re not allowed to discuss politics:
    • Current political issues
    • Elections and leadership
    • Racial topics or other diversity topics
    • Religious rules or beliefs
    • Hot news stories from past and present
    • Celebrity scandals
    • Sports controversies
    • Business controversies

Now I don’t know about fandom-wide controversies, TBT-related controversies, discussions of media going downhill, or discussions of toxic fandoms and hatedoms, but the ones I listed above are worldwide controversies, and those are going to aggravate others.

Just because something is older doesn’t mean it’s better. The reasons why older movies are better than newer movies are because of the superhero trend, franchising, making movies based on everything, and more creative films bringing less profit than they used to.
My profile is now open to people I follow only. Thank you to everyone who posted on my profile for dusting. But I will try to follow almost everyone. If you follow me, I’ll follow you back.

But remember, any VMs complaining about other members will be removed. This is not a place to gossip about others.

If you spend lots on a collectible, then sell it for less later, that would be a loss, but what matters more is timing. You would try to obtain some collectible, then sell it later because you changed your mind. The collectible has a purpose in the future because it would help you with your future plans.

Remembering which years had the TBT Fair since ACNL’s release:
    • Two thousand thirteen
    • Two thousand fourteen
    • Two thousand sixteen
    • Two thousand seventeen
    • Two thousand twenty
    • Two thousand twenty-two
Soon, you’ll have the Two Thousand Twenty-Four TBT Fair (2024 TBT Fair).

Not every country is safe for travel. If you’re considering international travel, be sure to follow more safety precautions, and know where to go and where not to go, before you start traveling to a certain country (given it’s a high risk nation). But if you’re traveling to other states in the United States, every state is safe to travel to on an international scale.
