Popped my Yoshi amiibo in though and it gives you a second yoshi to play with.
The way he plays gives a good glimpse of how multiplayer would be (however it's a bit restricted because he makes the same moves you do) but I envision multiplayer would be a blast and would make collecting things rather easier because there's a lot to collect in every level.
I'm sure it'll pop up somehow!!
And don't trust me haha I'm so biased when it comes to Yoshi games (I got a soft spot for the little dude). But seriously, I'm only half-way done with the first world and it's pretty awesome. Great platforming all-around, lots to collect, cute as <censored>, awesome amiibo capability, great gameplay, and even supports multiplayer! -
