yeah ofc knowing the language a bit might help but then i listen to music from around the world so i never saw that as too much of a barrier as long as one have some history knowledge and you can always look up words and stuff :3

yeahhh they are all so gud v.v i also like sérgio godinho a lot (hence why i changed my username to sheila due to some bad inside jokes) and all those other protest singer people! luís cília was the one who got me into all this at first so :P

yeah some songs are quite odd if you don't get the portuguese modern history and their culture but yeah if you read up on he carnation revolution and the colonial wars during the 60s-70s they make more sense.

holy **** ahaha.. yeah i kinda destroyed our toaster once when i was boiling some water for my noodles, apaprently i put on the wrong part of the stove where we had the toaster so the cable started buzzing and i was like **** man this is bad. xD I actually went and bought a new one but still lmao ._.
