Well recorder was the only required one, for Elementary school. Band is optional for my middle and high school.

Ah, nice! I can't really say that I've succesfully played an instrument :x I tried to learn acoustic guitar by myself, but it never really fell through. In middle school I was in choir for two years, a Soprano. Other than that I've played the recorder in Elementary and a bit of the organ.
