Aww, well I wish u the best of luck! Part of the fun of the game is unlocking things but believe me, I know how irritating it is at the same time to not be able to get stuff u wan't in the game at the same time. I mean there are always ways of course like time traveling and stuff but that sorta takes the fun out of it, unless u are doing it to do things like cycle villagers and stuff and/or u have 2 towns. I just took my time with my first town, but with the second town I had already done a lot so it was better to time travel and stuff anyways, haha. But I'm sure u already knew that sorry. XD

But yeah, animal crossing is like my baby, I can't seem to get enough of it!

But anyways, from what I've seen the game looks freakin amazing! I would totally get it but unfortunately I'm broke and my parents won't give me money lol. My grandma recently was so kind as to buy me a brand new 3ds XL and a few things for it, as well as bunch of other stuff. (I was so happy!) And now my parents say I'm good on electronic stuff for a while. But hopefully I will eventually get it.

I looked into it and may I just say WOW! It looks so so fun! It's totally gonna be one of those games that I'd spend like 10+ hours on at a time and all my friends would just spend like an hour or less on it at a time. XD I seriously have an animal crossing addiction. I looked at my play times yesterday of New Leaf and I have over 2,600 hours on it since when I first got it like a year and a half ago. I calculated and that's around 107 days just in itself. Like even though I'm busy a lot of the time I tend to put ACNL as my priority and often slack on my school work just to play it. But fortunately I'm still managing to be pretty much where I should be on my school stuff still, lol! I have a serious addiction. XD

And I actually really don't know much about the new game yet. I've heard of it but all I really know about it is that it's designing homes. XD Now would actually be a perfect opportunity to look into it. ^_^ Ill let u know what I think.
