Yes, it's a 2012 model. I live in Brazil and there's no nintendo products sold here anymore (it did sell in 2012, but now no stores carry any games or consoles), so if I'd buy a new one, it'd have to be overseas shipping and paying in dollars (it's a 3.5x add on any price, since our coin is weaker ;v; )
