You're 1000% right! If I tried to push through the headache and play longer it just got so much worse. Huh... I wonder why Nintendo got rid of the wireless switch. eBay does have a lot of good deals. That's were I got my 3DS. It was "pre-owned" but works great. *knocks on wood to be safe" I don't like to throw money at new tech either. I like to make sure we have "fun money" so I go as cheap as possible. I would love a larger screen. At night my eyes start crossing trying to see. Oh, wow - more keyboard space sounds amazing! I loathe typing on the 3DS. I already have a micro SD reader. We bought a couple when my son got his Switch. Actually mine's fancy - it reads regular & micro SD cards. la de da! lol!

Did older 2DS models have a wireless switch? I do have an older model 3DS & I've been thinking of upgrading. You are so right about the 2DS being more affordable! I couldn't believe the difference. I don't shut the 3D function off completely but I have it so low that it's a hair's width above shutting it off. OMGosh! I thought I was the only one who got headaches from the 3D. No one else I've talked to said it bothers them.

I didn't even know the 2DS came in XL! How do you like it so far? I hardly ever use the 3D function on my 3DS so I've been pondering getting a 2DS.
