Happy New Year... even though it's been 8 days

Z will probably be a dragon. There's always a dragon.
There's been speculation that we'll be getting a new eeveelution. I'd love a poison-type eeveelution, but it'll probably be ground. :c
I'm thinking of making an eeveelution team if I can trade from BW2 to XY.

I'm not big on white consoles. I like colour, but I don't want the usual blue/black/red or pink. I'm holding out for a purple or green or a nice limited XL.
Both of my 3ds are limited editions, but they're also black (Charizard XL would match...) and I'd like a different colour than black.

It's true there's so much we haven't seen yet. Please, please let there finally be a dark-type gym.

The male character is...meh. Whenever I get both versions of the games, I play as the female character in one version and male in the other. I may play as the female in both versions this time. :x

I completely forgot about the special bundles. But when the bw DSis were done, they weren't XLs, so there's a good chance the special bundles may be regular 3ds. :c
Oshawott is my favourite 5th gen starter. ^^ My one exception to the "always go with grass starter" rule.

I don't have an English XL either and was thinking of getting one for NL to make it easier when typing out messages, but the XL colours here suck and I will wait for better colours. xD

The 4 directions of movement is disappointing. To me it says this pokemon game will also be linear with no room to wander off and choose your own path. I've always hated that.

I'm happy the female character looks awesome. ^^ The last two gens have had nice female characters.

I think I have 6 badges in my JP BW2 games. As for the English one...maybe two badges. xD

Japan always gets event pokemon that the rest of the world never gets, so I'll be annoyed if I miss out, especially since I have the means to get some of them. And I don't want to buy another eng 3ds for trading pokemon...unless we get that Charizard XL. :x

The only thing I don't like about the 3d graphics is how the characters move. They look so awkward. D: I hope that will be fixed before release day.

I always go with the grass starter, so I'm glad this one looks good (to me). This is the first time since gold that I've liked the fire starter. xD Froakie is getting a lot of hate, but Oshawott did too and we all know how that one turned out. Some are speculating Froakie may evolve into a water/fighting "prince" which would be really awesome.

Pokemon, my first gaming love, is back. There goes most of my interest in the NA release of NL. xD I was losing interest in Pokemon (haven't finished bw2), but this has revived my interest.

The moment more pokemon are revealed, I will start planning out my teams. lol I've already decided to get Y in Japanese and X in English, so I can have all of the starters on my X team, Japanese event pokemon, trade with myself and not buy another 3ds, etc.

2013 is going to be insane for gaming on the 3ds. There's still Luigi's mansion!
My JP NL game may start to be neglected soon. I have BW2 to finish this year.

What animal species do you like the best?

I tried out the demo yesterday and the game was actually better than I thought it would be! The track designs were very nice and the controls were smooth. The only thing I really didn't like was the items...they didn't interest me at all. I wouldn't say it was better than Mario Kart though. Mario Kart will always be the best kart racing game, since I've grown up with it since I was little. So yeah, I think I'll pass on this game and wait for Mario Kart Wii U, but thanks for the suggestion Andrew!

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you, there's a monster hunter 3g demo on the Japanese eshop. It has 2 quests and you can use just about any weapon class in the game. I'm not sure if not having the circle pad pro would retain from the hunting experience or not, but give it a try if you want. Also, just to warn you, MH is not an easy game by any means. It's tough!! You need to get used to a weapon and monsters attacks/movements to take them down.

I haven't seen any of these festivals, so it's all new and exciting to me.
I've been making sure to have plenty of normal trees to turn pink during the cherry blossom festival.

Poor Caroline. Harry always falls into the pitfalls even when I'm not trying to get anyone to fall in them. ._.
Sometimes I don't even see it, I'll just go around digging up fossils and a new pitfall appears. xD

No, they don't show up when online, which means we could have the hammer, but need another person in order to check that third spot. Dx

I'm at January 12th. No hammer for me either and unfortunately, buying the club papers doesn't get rid of them. They're still there hogging up a spot on the table. :/

Alrighty, so after three days the bamboo is fully grown and a dig spot with a shoot appears near it, but it only seems to produce the one shoot, so I planted it to get more bamboo. D:

But Coco gave me another shoot, so in a few days I can give you the bamboo shoot.

Haha thanks. If you happen to have any cats that you don't want on your town please tell me. I have a weird goal to have a town with only cats and dogs. Oh! You know what? Why don't we trade villagers! I'll offer you my antelope if I find someone cool in your town.

Yeah, those games are made for the circle pad pro for sure. I tried them too and it was a crappy experience control wise.
