I don't know if the trees would affect town rating. :c

It seems you can only get so much fruit from delicious fruit trees until that happens.
I had that happen in my first town and after waiting a few days to see if the leaves would grow back, I chopped it down and replaced it.

Was it a tree bearing delicious fruit?

Yes, the purple one.
Although, Koyuki (snow leopard) asked me something and I said yes, so who knows. She may move in instead.

I've started rebuilding my museum collection. I hate that I have to get all of the diving stuff again. I don't like diving.

My town is open. I can visit you after. Apparently for the train station, 100 people have to visit your town and it can be the same person.

I'm not sure how it became corrupt; it saved without any problems. I noticed while fishing that the fish would kind of jump a bit as if there was lag even though I was playing by myself. That may have been the first sign something was wrong.
Even if I had backed-up everything, I would having been backing up corrupted data. :c
At least I got my dress back. xD I'm hunting for coelacanths since it is snowing. I already got the oarfish.

That can happen with physical copies too, but I'm still going to go for a physical copy.

No, it was always turned off before I removed the SD card.
I do have the dream address for both my other towns. It will be a while before I can bring myself to visit the last one.

Usually if the SD card is in wrong, the 3ds will say that when first started up, but nothing was wrong until I started the game.

This sucks. I will be doing some time travelling to try and get some of the shops in and some more villagers.

I love how there is a tree right in front of the bridge. That will be the first tree to go once I have an axe.

I don't know. I just don't know. The only time I will be removing the SD card is to back-up the data.
