Exactly! My written comments are too curt whenever I just answer the question or get my point across with no context. In real life can I do this without seeming curt at all, with body language and the voice/inflections I use. But conveying meaning through text.. all nuance is lost, and I notice this more than I probably need to. Ah well, I'll keep working on finding a sustainable balance.

The Christmas and Easter events sound like they were amazing! It's hard to get a handle on what the experience is like, what the logistics of participating are. Like any new event. I love it! I can't physically attend much these days but I can do online. And I love AC and these forums, though I'm still new to forums in general.

Oh, I meant to say before that I'd seen you around here too, and noticed your cool artwork in particular. Is the char in your signature from a show or manga at all? I'm terrible at recognising pop culture icons (.. I'm normally able to identify Superman.. mostly..).

Well I´m not familiar with sub-species either, but when a derg has certain colours, I´d scry something that looks good, and might fit a theme, and yeah it´s all about the colours, then people come up with ideas.

The eyes of certain breeds, like skydancer and guardian are so small, that the eye colour doesn´t matter so much, and I think brown eyes can look good with rose/cream colour range, could be nice for sweets/dessert themed dergs, like a cake or a cookie, with cream c:
