    It's not a product of the Canadian Cancer Society, it's something they use to get donations. Originally, real daffodils were sold before they switched to the pins.

    If there is a minimum donation, I wasn't told about it. 8D Most gave a few quarters or at least a dollar.

    It was my choice to try smiling. I didn't want to look as bored as the cashiers. :x I don't laugh much either unless I'm around other people. Even if I find something funny, if I'm by myself I don't laugh. Unless my cat does something really stupid.

    You weave the pin through your shirt/jacket and hope it doesn't fall off. :3 I'll probably steal the stopper off of my daffodil pin and use it for the poppy.

    The pins they had a few years ago were a lot nicer, but they were probably more expensive to make. Oh well. Mine fell of my backpack so I don't have it anymore. ;_;

    Canada is too big to be in one timezone. xD I don't smile often, so it probably was the creepiest smile ever. My face started to hurt too from all of the smiling.

    They're kind of not really sort of not free. 8D Just like the poppies that are sold here; they're worth however much you donate, but they STILL don't have the little white stopper the daffodils have. They always fall off.

    All I did was stand for three hours and gave out pins when I received donations. It's easy, but I'm still really tired. xD;
    I was in a grocery store and most didn't donate. My tactic was to smile and stare at them, which worked pretty well. It's not a very busy grocery store.

    I volunteered to sell pins for the Canadian Cancer Society. ^^ It's the second year I've done this and I will do it again next year too.
