  • I think you'd like Pleasantville. And Airplane is a really satirical comedy on an airplane. But it's not overdone. It's pretty good.
I absolutely love those movies also! :D All of those movies just are so amazing and iconic...they literally changed the face of film. Hitchcock was just such an amazing director. Have you seen Dial M for Murder? It's really good too, but Psycho is definitely one of a kind. They did a recent movie called Hitchcock that revolved around the production of Psycho. It's with Helen Mirren, who I think is a great actress, so you should check it out. I also like musicals like West Side Story and The Sound of Music. Have you seen Pleasantville? I love that movie too...Oh! and Airplane?
Wow--Stephen King said the movie was BETTER than the book?! That's quite the feat. wow. I'll definitely have to check both of those out. Thanks ^_^ What other movies do you enjoy btw?
OMG the shower scene. That was terrifying! The scariest scene for me was the balloons in the library, though...no...idk--they were all just so creepy! And no, I haven't seen any of his films. They just did a remake of Carrie though--I should watch the original right? :p
I can watch The Sixth Sense repeatedly and it never gets old. It's just a great movie. I got scared the first time I watched it (I was at my grandma's and she didn't know I was watching it) so I had to call my mom to take me home xD I should watch more Stephen King movies too--any suggestions? :)
Definitely read Dan Brown books. Do not watch the movies lol until after reading the books at least. And yea, I watched IT when I was too young also...I'm terrified of clowns too so that didn't help xD. Also, have you seen the Sixth Sense? That movie is great and very Stephen King, in my opinion, though it wasn't his creation.
I've only read The Long Walk by Richard Bachman. But I've seen the movie IT, which was so creepy, yet amazing. I need to read the book, and more Stephen King for that matter. Yea, the HP movies are fresher in my mind as well because I saw them more recently than I read the books. However, I do remember the 7th book the best, since I read it last (and I re-read it a bunch of times anyway). I literally bawled at the end of the last HP movie because it was over T_T haha.

Dan Brown has written Angels and Demons, Deception Point (which I have not read), The Lost Symbol, Dante's Inferno...etc. He's a great thriller/mystery/historical author...he just combines all of it into one amazing package of a book. He used to be a lawyer, you know? Isn't that crazy! :D You should definitely read his books, at least the Da Vinci Code (the movie really does not do the book justice at all).
I absolutely love Catcher in the Rye and Perks of Being a Wallflower. :) Stephen King is an amazing author. Have you read any of his books under the pseudonym Richard Bachman? The long walk is amazing. I love Harry Potter as well. Scarlet Letter...a lot of Classic novels. I'm completely obsessed with Dan Brown novels now--Da Vinci Code, etc.
I feel as if the couplet is the most important part of the poem...but it's so mysterious...the entire sonnet is...quite like Shakespeare, as always. haha. I've really enjoyed our conversation so far :) What other literature do you enjoy? Also, with regards to my advice, it is my pleasure to give it to you. I'm sorry that you're having difficulties, and feel free to contact me whenever you want to talk :)
Haha probably. Old movie actors always seem to fit roles better than modern ones honestly.
But yeah, I'd love to watch them oneday! I can only imagine how corny it'll be now though.
I've actually never seen the old superman movies :( Hopefully though the new ones coming out will be good :/
